Provided is an elastic extensible stick that can be used as a muscle-strengthening cane for athlete training or a walking-assistance stick for a walker. An elastic extensible stick (1), provided with: a main stick body (10) that has an elastic mechanism and that can be extended or retracted, a grip (91) attached to the upper end part of the main stick body (10), and a ferrule part (92) attached to the lower end part of the main stick body (10). The main stick body (10) is formed so that an inner tube (12) is inserted into an outer tube (11) allowing for extension or retraction, and a sealable air chamber (60) is formed as the elastic mechanism. The main stick body (10) is provided with a valve (50) communicating with the air chamber (60). The air chamber (60) can be placed in an open-to-atmosphere state or a closed state by opening/closing the valve (50).

Provided is a pole for walking in water which even middle-aged and elderly beginners can easily and safely use. The pole for walking in water is provided with grip sections (30) at both ends of a cylindrical pole main body (20). Both grip sections (30) are made of the same material and have the same shape. Both grip sections (30) and the pole main body (20) have the same axis. When left in the water, the pole for walking in water is located near the water surface (WL) in a horizontal state. Part of the pole main body (20) is located above the water surface (WL). The pole main body (20) is configured so that both ends have a smaller outer diameter than other parts. The grip sections (30) are provided with: a cylindrical grip main body (31) which a user holds; a grip bottom section (32) which a little finger contacts; and a grip top section (33) which the index finger contacts.

Provided is a cylindrical pole body (20), a grip section (30) positioned at the top end of the pole body (20), and a ferrule section (40) positioned at the bottom end of the pole body (20). The pole body (20) comprises an upper-side part (21) having a specific gravity of 1 or less, and a lower-side part (22) having a specific gravity of 1 or more, and when said pole is left in water, the ferrule section (40) faces the water bottom (82), and the grip section (30) is positioned near the surface of the water (81). In order to give the upper-side part (21) a larger volume, the pole body (20) is provided with a portion of increased cross-section area formed to have a flat cross section.

Abstract

Provided is a muscle strengthening cane which allows athletes such as skiers to strengthen the muscles of the upper arm which push against the ground. This muscle strengthening cane comprises a cane body, a handle attached to the upper end of the cane body, and a ferrule attached to the lower end of the cane body. The cane body is provided with an outer tube (11) and an inner tube (12) to allow retractability, the upper part of the inner tube (12) is inserted into the bottom end of the outer tube (11), and an elastic body (50) is provided between the inner wall of the outer tube (11) and the outer wall of the inner tube (12). One end of the elastic body (50) is attached to the lower end of the outer tube (11), and the other end of the elastic body (50) is attached to the upper end of the inner tube (12).
