Abstract

A light that includes an LED hidden from the elements and uniquely used in combination with a lens and providing a unitary casing that can be attached without tools and results in a sealed unit with all electrical components including LED in a protective inner chassis and an outer overmoulded rubber providing a waterproof and shockproof casing creates an improved portable light that can be used in all weather. The chassis adds the extra benefit of providing a mount for the lens at one end and the hook of the attachment means at the other end. Still further the lens extending at one end between the two spaced parts of the stretchable loop of the attachment means provides a compact form without compromising the effectiveness of the light emanation through the lens. The powering of the LED also enhances operation.
