Abstract
The present invention relates to a nondestructive inspection method with respect to a special steel pipe used for reinforcing ground and, more specifically, to a steel pipe inspection system using a sound signal, wherein a sound is provided to a steel pipe so as to determine whether the steel pipe is defective by detecting a sound passing through the steel pipe. Considering that main defects of a steel pipe are caused by porosity or cracks due to poor welding, and poor pipe manufacturing, a conventional pipe inspection method has been generally performed by visual inspection with respect to some samples. However, in reality, it is difficult to visually identify, and in particular, it is difficult to inspect all the manufactured products with naked eyes. Therefore, a total inspection method employing a nondestructive inspection method is needed. The present invention provides a steel pipe inspection system using a sound signal, which can generate a sound having a determined frequency and amplitude with respect to a steel pipe, detect a sound transferred through the steel pipe, contrast detected information with acoustic analysis information learned according to steel pipe defects so as to determine whether the steel pipe is defective or not.

The present invention relates to a method for producing a hollow silica particle, the method comprising: a step for producing a ZnO inorganic template particle by applying heat to a solution obtained by mixing a Zn precursor and an alkaline precipitant; a step for producing a ZnO/silica core-shell particle by forming a silica shell on the surface of the ZnO inorganic template particle by reacting a silica precursor and a salt with the ZnO inorganic template particle; and a step for removing the ZnO inorganic template particle from the ZnO/silica core-shell particle. The method of the present invention produces a hollow silica particle by using a ZnO inorganic template particle which may be easily removed through an acid-treatment process without performing a separate heat treatment or using an organic solvent, and thus can prevent problems of contamination and particle coagulation that occur during a process for removing a template particle using an organic solvent and a heat treatment. In addition, the method of the present invention improves hollowing efficiency by maximizing the hollow size of hollow silica by controlling the size and shape of a ZnO inorganic template particle, and can provide the hollow silica particle that is required according to the field of application.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a vertical type light emitting diode, a method for manufacturing the same, an ultraviolet ray light emitting diode, and a method for manufacturing the same. A vertical type light emitting diode according to the present invention is on the basis of a nitride semiconductor having a p-n conjunction structure, a transparent material layer is formed on a p type clad layer, the transparent material layer having a refractive index different from that of the p type clad layer and having a pattern structure. A reflective metal electrode layer is formed on the transparent material layer as a p-electrode. After a stereoscopic pattern is formed in the transparent material layer, the p-electrode is deposited, and thus a pattern is formed in the p-electrode. Light from an active layer is emitted in a wide radiation angle by the pattern formed in the p-electrode, and reflectance is improved according to a patterned form and a refractive index of a material. Meanwhile, in depositing the p-electrode on the p type clad layer in the ultraviolet ray light emitting diode, when the p-electrode is deposited on only 10 to 70 % of the upper portion of the p type clad layer, an area where the p type clad layer is exposed is wide, therefore it is possible to increase a transmittance of ultraviolet rays through an area where the p-electrode is not deposited. A form of the p-electrode may be a mesh form, a punched plate form, a one-dimensional grid form, etc. The vertical type light emitting diode of the present invention is manufactured through a simple process, and has high reflection efficiency since light is emitted in a wide angle by the pattern of the p-electrode. Therefore, the present invention can provide a highly efficient vertical type light emitting diode. In addition, even when emitted light is ultraviolet rays, a transmittance can be increased.

Specifically, provided is a method and apparatus for fabrication of a thin film superconductor using spray pyrolysis chemical vapor deposition, comprising dissolving an inorganometallic compound as a raw material in distilled water to prepare a precursor solution, spraying the resulting precursor solution in a state of fine droplets, and coating an epitaxial thin film on a substrate (such as a ceramic material, a nickel metal, a nickel alloy, stainless steel or the like) via a pyrolysis process. The method comprises dissolving an inorganometallic compound having a water-solubility in distilled water to prepare a precursor solution; processing the precursor solution into droplets having a size of several &mgr;m to several tens of &mgr;m and storing the droplets in a raw material storage; transferring the droplets in the storage to a main pipe via a pump and simultaneously supplying the droplets, in conjunction with carrier and reactant gases supplied by operation of a valve, to a nozzle; heating the droplets sprayed from the nozzle by an auxiliary heat source to evaporate the distilled water, thereby preparing fine-sized particles of the inorganometallic compound; elevating a temperature of a heater formed in a table, such that the resulting particles react with the reactant gas to form an oxide; uniformly forming a film of the oxide at opposite sides on a single crystal substrate having a certain texture provided to the table via conveyers, by a 㖗 shaped stainless steel plate, thereby forming an oxide template having a certain texture on the upper part of the substrate, and sufficiently heating the single crystal substrate prepared by forming an oxide buffer layer on the resulting oxide template to form an oxide thin film; and subjecting the resulting oxide thin film to an oxygen heat-treatment to complete a thin film superconductor having superconducting properties. That is, the present invention provides a method for fabrication of a thin film superconductor made of REBa2Cu3O7-x (RE = a rare-earth element selected from the group consisting of Y, La, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu and any combination thereof), using a precursor solution prepared by dissolving an inexpensive inorganometallic compound in distilled water. Therefore, the present invention enables production of superconductors at a significantly lower cost, as compared to the use of a conventional expensive β-chelate compound, i.e., 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5-heptanedione (tmhd).

Abstract
Disclosed herein is a food composition having the effect of restoring liver function, comprising an extract from Lonicera caerulea L. var. edulis. The composition may be useful in the manufacture of confectionery products, functional food, health food, or health supplements.
Disclosed are a superconductive magnet manufactured by winding a thin superconductive rod wire in a coil without joint for maintaining a persistent current mode, and a method for manufacturing the same. The method includes winding both ends of a superconductive rod wire (10) on a first bobbin (21) and a second bobbin (22) respectively; forming a first unit rod wire (10a) and a second unit rod wire (10b) by slitting the superconductive rod wire (10) i n the lengthwise direction; producing a pancake coil by winding the first and second unit rod wires (10a, 10b) on third bobbins (25) in one direction; and arranging the first and second unit rod wires (10a, 10b) such that magnetic fields (B, B') in t he same direction are generated from the pancake coil, by reversing one of the third bobbins (25) on which the first and second unit rod wires (10a, 10b) are wound.

ORGANOMETALLIC PRECURSOR AND PRODUCTION OF SUPERCONDUCTING OXIDE THIN FILMS
Disclosed herein are method for preparing an organometallic precursor solution by dissolving a metal salt and a metal oxide in an aqueous solution of an organic acid (S 1 ), evaporating the solvent (S 2) and dissolving the formed viscous jelly in organic solvent (S 3). The organometallic precursor solution is applied to a substrate (S 4) whose surface is textured (a ceramic single crystal substrate or a metal-ceramic composite substrate in which a textured ceramic thin film is formed on a metal substrate ) to produce an oxide superconductor. According to the method for preparing the organometallic precursor solution, an organic acid is used as a raw material other than trifluoroacetic acid, thereby enabling production of an oxide superconducting thin film with excellent superconductivity at reduced costs without being largely affected by the presence of moisture in air even during storage and processing, such as coating, in air.
