The textile with a non-woven fabric backing can be conveniently treated as industrial waste, or can be reused as a recycled material. Further, the textile with a non-woven fabric backing can yield a covering with improved appearance and cushioning properties, without impairing the working atmosphere.
D04H 1/54 - Non-woven fabrics formed wholly or mainly of staple fibres or like relatively short fibres from fleeces or layers composed of fibres without existing or potential cohesive properties by welding together the fibres, e.g. by partially melting or dissolving
B32B 5/26 - Layered products characterised by the non-homogeneity or physical structure of a layer characterised by the presence of two or more layers which comprise fibres, filaments, granules, or powder, or are foamed or specifically porous one layer being a fibrous or filamentary layer another layer also being fibrous or filamentary
D04H 3/16 - Non woven fabrics formed wholly or mainly of yarns or like filamentary material of substantial length characterised by the method of strengthening or consolidating with bonds between thermoplastic yarns or filaments produced by welding with bonds between thermoplastic filaments produced in association with filament formation, e.g. immediately following extrusion
The present invention provides a polymer composition including a first base polymer (A) containing at least a thermoplastic polymer, a second base polymer (B) containing at least a thermoplastic polymer and not having compatibility with the first base polymer (A), and an additive (C) containing at least a substance not having compatibility with any of the first base polymer (A) and the second base polymer (B), the additive (C) being in the form of liquid or slurry at the lower of a pyrolysis temperature of the first base polymer (A) and a pyrolysis temperature of the second base polymer (B). (A), (B) and (C) are phase-separated from each other, and interfaces each located between two of phases of (A), (B) and (C) contacting each other form three-dimensional continuous parallel interfaces.
Provided is a roller-winding rubbing sheet, which is used to form fine grooves in an orientation film or optical film by rubbing the orientation film or optical film of a liquid crystal display device, integrally with a roll surface. The roller-winding rubbing sheet comprises a backing film having an pressure sensitive adhesive layer on one face and an adhesive layer on the other face, and a rubbing cloth adhered to the adhesive layer through a back. The rubbing sheet provided is freed, unlike the prior art, from contamination with air at the time of adhering the rubbing cloth, from any wrinkle or looseness of the rubbing cloth, and from any transfer of adhesive on the roller at the time of peeling the rubbing cloth, but can be easily rolled on or peeled off the roller.
A rubbing cloth for use in alignment treatment of an alignment film of liquid crystal display apparatus, characterized in that the rubbing cloth consists of a ground fabric and pile yarns, and that a heat-fusible composite fiber is used in at least some of warp and weft yarns of the ground fabric, and that the pile yarns consist of flat ultrafine fibers of 1.1 dtex or less obtained by splitting of a multilayer laminated conjugate fiber wherein the flatness (ratio of major axis/minor axis) is 4 or higher. Accordingly, there is provided a rubbing cloth that can form uniform fine channels on the alignment film for liquid crystal display apparatus, being easy in handling thereof.
