Abstract

The invention relates to a dual coupling system that can be used in rail vehicles, e.g. trains or trams. The object of the invention is to provide a coupling system that allows for reduced installation space with improved support span and improved compensation behaviour with occurring axial and angular misalignments and which can be economically and quickly maintained and set up. A dual coupling system is provided comprising a first coupling unit (1) associated with a drive assembly, a second coupling unit (2) associated with a transmission assembly, and a connecting shaft (8) arranged between the first and second coupling unit. A casing (3) is force-lockingly and/or interlockingly detachably connected to the connecting shaft in a first end region and the second coupling unit is arranged opposite the first coupling unit in a second end region of the connecting shaft and is force-lockingly and/or interlockingly detachably connected to same. The second coupling unit has a coupling element (9) directed towards the first coupling unit, which allows for an arranging and coupling of a transmission assembly in the region of the connecting shaft between the first and second coupling unit (1, 2).

Abstract

The invention lies in the technical fields of mechanical engineering and coupling technology and relates to a spatially elastic coupling and a coupling arrangement formed from spatially elastic couplings. A drawback in the prior art is that elastic couplings are complicated, material-intensive and expensive and the compensation behaviour, in particular in the case of an angular and radial offset, is insufficient and the wear is high on account of the multidimensional stress. According to the invention, a spatially elastic coupling for the connection of a driving unit and a driven unit is provided, having at least one first and second attachment element extending radially with respect to the axis of rotation, and at least one rotationally symmetric torsionally elastic and flexible stiffness module, wherein the first and second attachment elements are arranged coaxially with one another and are connected by the torsionally elastic and flexible stiffness module, and the torsionally elastic and flexible stiffness module extends coaxially with the axis of rotation of the coupling. The coupling can be used between two shafts to be connected or in cooperation with other types of coupling.

Abstract

The invention refers to the field of rail vehicle technology and relates to a double-cardanic clutch for equalizing axial, radial and angular relocations between a transmission and a wheel. The problem addressed by the invention is that of providing an at least two-part clutch for rail vehicles which is simple and safe to install, prevents damage during assembly of the clutch and has a high degree of positioning accuracy of the joined clutch halves. According to the invention, a clutch for rail vehicles is provided which is a two-part or three-part clutch system, wherein a pre-assembled stud arranged centrally axially in the second clutch shaft is present within a centrally axial through-bore at least for aligning, centering, guiding and testing the second clutch half relative to the first clutch half, wherein a region of the side of the stud facing away from the end face of the first clutch shaft, by means of which region at least one frictional connection of the first clutch half and the second clutch half is implemented, projects out of the first clutch half.

Abstract

A universal double-jointed coupling for railway vehicles with two joint levels comprises two coupling joints which are interconnected via a shaft that is surrounded by a hollow pinion shaft in order to transmit torque by means of said hollow pinion shaft. One joint level is assigned to a coupling joint encompassing a crowned gear that has angular and axial compensation capability while the other joint level is associated with a torsion-proof, flexible coupling joint.

Abstract

The invention relates to a spring pressure multiplate clutch for compressors, composed of two clutch assemblies, of which the one clutch assembly has a drive and an inner plate arrangement which is connected thereto, and the other clutch assembly is connected to a compressor shaft and has a hollow, finger-like cut-away clutch housing part with an associated outer plate arrangement and a disk-shaped end part which is aligned toward a compressor housing and belongs to the clutch housing part, wherein the other clutch assembly is assigned an annular shift piston, to which compressed air can be supplied. The aim is to ensure the torque transmission from the drive to the compressor shaft in a targeted space-saving manner. The solution consists in that the compressor shaft (3,6,43) is assigned continuously to the two clutch assemblies (21,22), and a sleeve-shaped inner body (12) is integrally formed on the drive (2), which is independent of the compressor shaft (3,6,43), which inner body (12) is rotatably mounted on the compressor shaft (3,6,43) and to which inner body (12) the inner plate arrangement (11) is fastened. The clutch housing part (13) is in engagement with a hub (15) which is fastened to the compressor shaft (3,6,43), between which hub (15) and the end part (18) a pre-tensioned spring arrangement (16) is provided, wherein the end part (18) is arranged so as to be situated opposite the shift piston (5) by means of an axial plain bearing (20), which shift piston (5) is integrated in an annular groove (27) in the compressor housing (4) and is mounted so as to be axially movable counter to the pre-tension of the spring arrangement (16) so as to produce contact with the end part (18) for the compressed-air-controlled axial movement (37) of the clutch housing part (13).

Abstract

The invention relates to a universal double-jointed coupling (1) for railway vehicles with two joint levels (20, 21). Said coupling (1) comprises two coupling joints which are interconnected via a shaft (5) that is surrounded by a hollow pinion shaft (6) in order to transmit torque by means of said hollow pinion shaft (6). One joint level (20) is assigned to a coupling joint (2) encompassing a crowned gear (22) that has angular and axial compensation capability while the other joint level (21) is associated with a torsion-proof, flexible coupling joint (3). The aim of the invention is to ensure that coupling elements can be replaced easily and freely without any problem in the area of the coupling joint encompassing the crowned gear. Said aim is achieved by providing the coupling joint (2) encompassing the crowned gear (22) with a removable internally geared sleeve (7) and a removable matching externally geared coupling hub (23). A final area of the shaft (5), which is embodied as an intermediate shaft, is connected to the removable coupling hub (23) while the hollow pinion shaft (6) is fastened to the outer wall of the sleeve (7) outside the removable sleeve (7).
