Abstract
A universal firearm shield adapted to attach to a firearm suppressor. Suppressors fail to dampen all of the effects of firearm discharge, leaving behind residual effects that may be noticeable. The shield dampens the residual effects of firearm discharge that are not captured by the suppressor. The residual effects are captured by the shield and dispersed throughout one or more interior chambers. The shield easily, quickly, and securely couples to suppressors of varying geometries due to the slidably adjustable components of the shield. The shield is configured to surround the suppressor and axially align with the suppressor. As such, the muzzle of the firearm axially aligns with the shield, the suppressor, and the barrel for an unobstructed projectile path during discharge.

Abstract
A fast-attaching, self-aligning, easily adaptable and preferably tool-less suppressor adapter. The novel adapter attaches to the barrel of a firearm while precisely aligning the barrel and adapter using a set of compression feet equidistantly spaced around the perimeter of the adapter. The device is adapted to attach to a wide range of barrel diameters via an easy to fit and inexpensive to manufacture fitment sleeve. Thus, the adapter can be manufactured in a single size and work with most firearms. In addition, the device attaches to the smooth section of barrel thereby eliminating the need for permanently modifying a firearm by threading the barrel.

Abstract
A flexible fit, easy to attach and align, firearm adapter that allows secure fitment of a muzzle device, such as a suppressor, to a broad range of firearm sizes and shapes, with a single device. These firearms would include difficult to fit barrel profiles that in many cases would go unsuppressed without this improvement over the prior art. An embodiment includes an anchor securable to a smooth section of a firearm barrel and a housing adapted to engage the anchor. The anchor and housing are sized to reach over or around barrel obstructions. An embodiment includes an alignment guide to bring the barrel into axial alignment with the muzzle device.

Abstract
A storage device includes a memory and a controller. The controller controls the memory such that, in response to a request for a first read operation on the memory while a first write operation is performed on the memory, the first write operation is suspended, and the first read operation is performed, the suspended first write operation is resumed after the first read operation is completed, and second write operation subsequent to the first write operation is performed on the memory after the resumed first write operation is completed. The controller throttles an amount of data communicated to the memory device for the second write operation or for a second read operation subsequent to the first read operation, based on a frequency that the first write operation is suspended.

Abstract
A firearm adapter that attaches a muzzle device, such as a suppressor to a broad range of firearm sizes and shapes. The adapter can securely attach and align a suppressor to a wide range of barrel diameters and profiles, including, those barrels with various obstructions, protrusions and geometries. An embodiment of the device reaches over or around barrel obstructions to securely attach a housing to an anchor on an unobstructed section of the barrel and further compresses an alignment surface against the muzzle to create longitudinal and concentric alignment between the barrel and the suppressor.

Abstract
A firearm barrel fitment sleeve and method of use. The fitment sleeve is preferably fast-attaching, self-aligning, and securable without the need of a tool. The novel fitment sleeve allows a single firearm accessory adapter to be used with a wide range of firearm barrels by temporarily modifying the size of the barrel diameter without permanently modifying the structure of the firearm. The fitment sleeve is inexpensive and preferably includes a longitudinally extending slot in the lateral wall making a single fitment sleeve usable on a wide variety of barrel diameters. Additionally, the fitment sleeve is heat resistant to avoid melting and/or catching fire when the barrel increases in heat during operation.

Abstract
A universal firearm adapter configured to mount to the frame of a firearm. The adapter easily, quickly, accurately, securely, concentrically and repeatably, with or without tools, attaches a suppressor or suppressor adapter to the frame or rail system of a firearm. The adapter includes a rail attachment configured to attach to a plurality of dimensionally inconsistent frames/rails and a bore alignment assembly. Moreover, the adapter is configured to axially align the adapter bore with the barrel bore regardless of the dimensional and axial inconsistencies of the barrel and its bore. The bore alignment assembly preferably includes a suppressor mount axially aligned with the adapter bore thereby ensuring that the suppressor is axially aligned with the bore of the barrel.

Abstract
A firearm adapter that can attach to a rail secured to a firearm barrel and can quickly, accurately, securely, and concentrically attach a suppressor or suppressor extension to the firearm barrel even when the firearm barrel includes a muzzle device, such as a flash hider. The adapter is tool-less and attaches a suppressor or other muzzle device to a variety of rail equipped firearms with different geometries while providing strong securement and proper alignment.

Abstract
A firearm barrel alignment device and method of use for quickly and accurately axially aligning an adapter with the barrel of a firearm. The novel barrel alignment device attaches to or is integrated with an adapter and includes an angled or inwardly curved funnel to guide the muzzle of a firearm barrel. The firearm barrel alignment device is heat resistant, preferably, in excess of 1300 degrees Fahrenheit. Moreover, the funnel in the firearm barrel alignment device is adapted to create a seal between the muzzle and the firearm barrel alignment device.

Abstract
A suppressor adapter attachable to firearms of various sizes and shapes. The adapter includes an anchor securable to a smooth section of a barrel, preferably proximally with respect to any obstructions located near the muzzle end of the barrel, and a housing configured to engage the anchor. The housing has a size and/or shape that reaches over and/or around various obstructions, protrusions and geometries near the muzzle end of the barrel. The device further includes an alignment surface intended to receive the muzzle of the firearm and guide the muzzle into longitudinal and concentric alignment with a suppressor secured to a distal end of the housing.
