Abstract

The invention relates to a connection device (100) for connecting a first component and a second component, comprising: a first connection element (102) which is arranged on the first component when the components are connected; and/or a second connection element (104) which is arranged on the second component when the components are connected, wherein the first connection element (102) comprises a first housing (106) and a holding element (108) which can be moved relative to the first housing (106) of the first connection element (102) for releasably connecting the first connection element (102) to the second connection element (104) and/or the second component. The movable holding element (108) comprises a holding contour (110), and the second connection element (104) and/or the second component comprises a second holding contour (112) which can engage behind the first holding contour (110). At least one of the connection elements (102, 104) has a curved surface (116, 118) on the respective housing (106, 114), said surface being arc-shaped in a longitudinal section, and and a substantially flat access surface (120, 122) which lies opposite the curved surface (116, 118) and which faces the other connection element (102, 104) when the components are connected. At least one of the connection elements (102, 104) extends in a thickness direction (D) and in a longitudinal direction (L), and the thickness direction (D) is oriented substantially perpendicularly to a connection direction (V) which runs transversely, preferably substantially perpendicularly, to the access surface (120, 122), and the longitudinal direction (L) is oriented substantially perpendicularly to the thickness direction (D) and substantially parallel or coincident to the substantially flat access surface (120, 122). The invention additionally relates to an installation device (300) for a connection device (100) for connecting a first component and a second component and to a system for connecting a first component and a second component.

Abstract

A connecting device includes a connecting element arranged on a connectible part, which includes non-self-cutting retaining projections having a curved supporting surface in the shape of a circular arc in a longitudinal section that are insertable into a groove provided on another connectible part. The groove has a curved undercut surface in the shape of a circular arc in a longitudinal section, a base segment, and two undercut segments extending away from the base segment in a thickness direction. The retaining projections engage in the undercut segments of the groove, the connecting means guiding the parts in relation to each other. One connecting element includes a guiding groove with a slotted guide and the other connecting element includes a guiding element moveable along the guiding groove in a specified guiding path having varying distances from a contact surface of the part and/or abutment surface of the connecting element.

Abstract

A connecting device or means and method of connecting components are described. In one example, a device comprises a first connecting element that is configured to be arranged on the first component in the connected state of the components and a second connecting element that is configured to be arranged on the second component in the connected state of the components. At least one of the connecting elements comprises a curved bearing surface which is in the form of an arc of a circle in longitudinal section. The first connecting element may comprise a housing and at least one holding element which is moveable relative to the housing of the first connecting element and, in a holding position, cooperates with the second connecting element.

Abstract

The aim of the invention is to provide a connection means for connecting a first component to a second component, especially for connecting pieces of furniture or parts of machines, said means comprising a first connection element arranged on the first component when the components are connected, and a second connection element arranged on the second component when the components are connected, at least one of the connection elements having a curved bearing surface in the form of the arc of a circle in a longitudinal section, and enabling a secure connection of the two components, without causing any risk of damage to the two components during the assembly thereof. To this end, the first connection element and the second connection element are detachably connected when the components are connected, and at least the first connection element comprises a housing and at least one holding element that can move in relation to the housing of the first connection element, said holding element co-operating with the second connection element in a holding position in such a way that a relative movement of the first connection element and the second connection element along the direction of connection is prevented, and a relative movement of the first connection element and the second connection element along the direction of connection is allowed in a released position. At least one holding element can be moved, by an action external to the connection means, from the holding position into the released position and/or from the released position into the holding position, and the housing (188) of the first connection element has a curved bearing surface (190) in the form of the arc of a circle in a longitudinal section, and an essentially plane positioning surface (194) which can be applied to the second connection element (186) and is located opposite the bearing surface (190).
