The present disclosure relates to a sponson for a pontoon boat. The sponson has integrated chines and integrated splash guards. The sponson also includes a keel and deadrise surfaces on opposite sides of the keel. The sponson further includes an integrated keel reinforcement stringer within the sponson.

The front nose sections include front inboard plates that define forward portions, and front outboard plates that define forward portions of the outboard sides. The intermediate sections of the sponsons include inboard and outboard plates that define intermediate portions. The aft sections include inboard and outboard plates that define aft portions of the sponson sides.

Abstract

A pontoon boat includes a plurality of sponsons, a deck mounted on the sponsons, and a privacy enclosure mounted on the deck. The privacy enclosure has a bottom section and a top section, both of which have a rigid construction. The top section is telescopically moveable in a vertical orientation relative to the bottom section between a retracted position and an extended position. The top section is situated over, and covers the bottom section when in the refracted position, with a majority of the top section projecting upwardly from the bottom section when in the extended position.

Abstract

A pontoon boat includes a cover assembly. A front cover section has a front cover area defined by a perimeter thereof and is slidable relative to the central cover section between a retracted position and an extended position. An aft cover section has an aft cover area defined by a perimeter thereof and is slidable relative to the central cover section between a retracted position and an extended position. When in the extended position, the cover assembly defines a perimeter having a length dimension and a width dimension generally matching the length and width dimensions of the perimeter defined by the pontoon's sidewalls. The cover assembly is vertically movable between an up position where the cover assembly is elevated above head level, and a down position where the cover assembly is positioned on the sidewalls to cover an area inside the perimeter defined by the sidewalls.
