Abstract

A glued trussed joist, joint and method are provided which include two chords, the lower chord (1) and the upper chord (2) located a distance from each other and two elongated webs (3, 4) are located between the chords. The upper ends of the webs are connected in the upper chord (2) and the lower ends of the webs connected in the lower chord (1). The lower ends of the webs have at least one tenon finger (21) and the lower chord (1) has a matching mortise routing (20). The tenon fingers (21) are inserted using glue to make a joint to resist forces and moments in the joist and the chord routing (20) goes through the chord.
