An EV charger handle includes a housing includes an overmold, a thorax, a barrel, and a charging cable insert that is perpendicular to the axis of an EV charging port. The overmold includes a light transmitting assembly and a light source. The EV charger handle includes a charging plug. The charging plug includes a switching grommet, a charging plug mount, a plurality of female 2024/059084 contact pins and a pin restrainer. The charging plug further includes an inner charging plug shell, an outer charging plug shell and a charging plug grommet. The inner charging plug shell is configured to house the switching grommet, the charging plug mount, the female contact pins, and the pin restrainer. Abstract

A collar mount assembly includes a gear assembly, a first collar, a second collar, and at least one engaging assembly. The gear assembly includes a plurality of gears in a continuous transmission loop with each other sandwiched between the first collar and the second collar. The at least one engaging assembly includes a jig, a threaded rod, and an engagement pad. The threaded rod is received by the jig coaxial with one gear of the plurality of gears. External threads of the threaded rod engage with internal threads of the one gear of the plurality of gears. Abstract

The EV charger handle includes a handle housing defining an interior volume and a handle plug having a plurality of terminal pins, an EV charging cable including a plurality of conductor wires and extending into the interior volume to respectively connect the plurality of conductor wires to the plurality of terminal pins to transmit a power signal to an EV connected to the handle plug, a handle logic controller disposed within the interior volume and connected at least one of the plurality of conductor wires to receive power, and one or more sensors disposed within the interior volume in electronic communication with the handle logic controller.
