Abstract
A sprocket assembly comprises a first sprocket (54) which serves as a hub for a larger second sprocket. An annular extension member (70) is secured to the outer periphery of first sprocket (54) to prevent relative axial movement. The annular extension (70) comprises teeth (77, 81) on both an inner edge (76) and an outer edge (80). The inner set of teeth (77) may be rounded so as to mate and lock with the profile of teeth of the first sprocket (54). The outer set of teeth (81) provide the larger second sprocket and engage with a chain (56).

Abstract
Rotary motion transfer apparatus (10), such as a combine grain elevator (12), comprises first and second endless flexible members (14,54) which may include belts and/or chains. Each flexible member (14,54) is trained around a respective set of rotary members which may be pulleys, sheaves or sprockets. One rotary member from each set shares a common shaft (18) and may, or may not, be in driving engagement with one another. The common shaft (18) is mounted on an adjustment frame member (28) that is linearly displaceable with respect to a main frame (46) to adjust the tension in the first endless flexible member (14). A pair of idler rotary members (58,60) are provided for tensioning the second endless flexible member (54) and are mounted on a pivot arm (62) which is mounted to the adjustment frame member (28) for pivoting movement around a pivot axis (64) intermediate the pair of idler rotary members (58,60). A lever (66) is secured to the pivot arm (62), and spring means (68) are attached between the lever (66) and the main frame (46) to bias the idler rotary members (58,60) into engagement with opposite sides of the second endless flexible member (54) with a substantially constant force over an adjustment range of the common shaft (18).

Abstract
A combine harvester (10) comprises threshing apparatus (17), a separating system (18) and a grain cleaning system (19). The threshing apparatus and separating system are arranged in series to sequentially receive and process a cut crop stream. Grain separated from the crop stream falls through respective concave grates (27, 32, 33, 44, 45, 46) in the threshing apparatus and separating system. The separating system (18) comprises a plurality of transverse separating rotors (41, 42, 43) which rotate in the same direction as one another. Each separating rotor comprises a plurality of retractable fingers (70) which retract into the rotor when at the top of the rotor and extend radially outward when at the bottom of the rotor so as to convey the crop stream under the rotors and eject crop residue from the rear of the separating system.

Abstract
A separating rotor (32) for a combine harvester (10) is provided having a rotor core (43) and a plurality of crop engaging elements (42). Each element (42) has a finger support (50) and a finger element (58) attached to the finger support. The finger support comprises a pair of feet (52, 54) connected together by a finger attachment plate (56) wherein the finger element is attached to the finger attachment plate. Each foot is secured to the rotor core along a respective base edge (52a, 54a) which resides on both sides of an extended plane defined by the associated finger element.
