Abstract
Cartridge housing a filtering pellet which is encapsulated in a sealing ring, which cartridge is intended to be removably attached to a filtering facepiece respirator. The invention relates to a filtration cartridge (5, 5', 5'') which is intended to be removably attached to a health protection mask (1), comprising: - a member which extends along a longitudinal axis (X), the member being in two pieces (51, 52) which are joined together, defining a recess, each of the two pieces being passed through by at least one through-hole which opens into the recess; - at least one component in the form of a pellet (6) having a total porosity greater than 40%; - a sealing ring (53) made from elastomer material with a substantially U-shaped cross-section inside which the pellet is retained, the ring being housed in the recess of the member by being retained with a close fit against an internal portion of either portion or both portions of the member.

Abstract
