A plurality of cutting bodies each having a cutting edge are arranged on the main body of a machining tool. During operation, the plurality of cutting bodies rotate in a direction of rotation which runs around an axis of rotation. Each cutting edge has exactly one reference point. The reference points are mutually spaced in the direction perpendicular to the direction of rotation. Reference points of cutting bodies that are directly adjacent in the direction perpendicular to the direction of rotation are arranged with mutual angular spacings with respect to the axis of rotation. The spacings are integer multiples of angle values which lie in an angle range of +/−5° with respect to the golden angle. The sum of the golden angle and an opposite angle produces the round angle. The ratio of golden angle to opposite angle is equal to the ratio of opposite angle to round angle.
A machining tool has a main body with a carrier surface. Cutting bodies each having a cutting edge are arranged on the carrier surface, the edges rotating in a direction of rotation which runs around an axis of rotation during the machining. The edges of a group including a plurality of cutting bodies overlap in a gapless manner with respect to the direction perpendicular to the direction of rotation and form an overall edge. All of the edges are arranged between end points of the overall edge. The group has a minimum number of teeth defined by the number of edges at least situated one behind the other in the direction of rotation in an intermediate region of the overall edge. The edges of the group overlap with respect to the direction perpendicular to the direction of rotation such that the minimum number of teeth is at least two.

Milling tool and method for producing such a milling tool
The disclosure relates to a milling tool for wood or wood-like materials, as well as a method for producing such a milling tool. A longitudinal direction, a radial direction and a rotational direction are specified by an axis of rotation of the milling tool. The milling tool includes a base body as well as at least one blade which adjoins a rake face pointing forward in the rotational direction and a flank face pointing outward in the radial direction. The blade and the rake face run in a curved manner in the longitudinal direction. The curved blade and the curved rake face are formed on a cutting plate formed separately from the base body. The cutting plate is fastened to and in particular soldered on with its flat inner surface on a flat support surface of the base body.
A tool unit includes a tool head, a motor and a switching drive for the head. The head has a first section with first blades and a second section with second blades. The second section is movable to and fro between a passive and an active position relative to the first section, the second blades being retracted in the passive position, and the second blades projecting axially beyond the first blades in the active position. The drive includes an electromagnet and an actuating armature made from magnetically attractable material and is arranged in the region of action of the electromagnet. The electromagnet is positioned between the head and the motor and is fastened to a housing part of the motor such that it cannot be rotated. The armature is connected fixedly to the second section. A gap remains between the electromagnet and the armature in the passive and active position.
A tool head is for machining edges of a workpiece and includes a first tool section with first blades and a second tool section with second blades. The second blades are positioned between the first blades when seen in the circumferential direction. The second section is movable relative to the first section in the direction of the longitudinal axis between a passive and active position. The second blades are axially recessed relative to the first blades in the passive position and project axially outwards between the first blades in the active position. The tool head has a pressure switching mechanism for moving the second tool section between the passive and active position. In a tool system, the tool head and an actuation element can be moved axially relative to each other. The at least one actuation surface and the actuation element are configured to be axially pressed towards each other.
The invention relates to a tool head (1) for machining edges (3) of a workpiece (4) and to a tool system comprising such a tool head (1). The tool head (1) comprises a first tool section (6) with a set of first blades (7) which are distributed over the circumference and a second tool section (8) with a set of second blades (9) which are distributed over the circumference. The second blades (9) are positioned between the first blades (7) when seen in the circumferential direction. The second tool section (8) can be moved relative to the first tool section (6) in the direction of the longitudinal axis (5) back and forth between a passive position and an active position, wherein the second blades (9) are axially recessed relative to the first blades (7) in the passive position and project axially outwards between the first blades (7) in the active position. The tool head (1) has a pressure switching mechanism (10) for moving the second tool section (8) back and forth between the passive position and the active position. In the tool system according to the invention, the tool head (1) and an actuation element can be moved axially relative to each other, the at least one actuation surface (11) and the actuation element being designed to be axially pressed towards each other.

The invention is directed to a machine tool for edge machining a workpiece. The machine tool includes a drive unit for a rotary tool, a guide device for guiding the workpiece in a horizontal infeed direction and a chip collecting hood. The guide device includes an upper pressure element and a lower pressure element and one of the pressure elements is settable in the vertical direction relative to the other pressure element and also the drive unit. The chip collecting hood includes a side wall having a cutout for receiving an edge region to be machined of the workpiece. The side wall includes a base wall part and a closure wall part. The base wall part is positioned fixedly relative to the drive unit and the closure wall part is positioned fixedly relative to the pressure element to be settable in the vertical direction. The closure wall part delimits the cutout in the vertical direction.
