The present disclosure provides a reversible cutting tool to cut a material such as sheet metal on a press brake. The reversible cutting tool is further comprised of a handle portion to grip and move the cutting tool, wheels to allow the cutting tool to slide along the press brake, a blade portion to cut the material, and an adjustable cutting mechanism. The adjustable cutting mechanism allows the reversible cutting tool to pivot and cut the material in two different directions, and also allows the cutting tool to be set in a third storage position. In a preferred embodiment, the adjustable cutting mechanism is comprised of a channel on an underside of the cutting portion, the channel configured to receive a plunger, the plunger to slide between two opposed cutting positions and a storage position.

A sheet metal bending brake consists of a flat surface onto which sheet material is placed, and a clamping bar which comes down and holds the sheet material firmly during the bending process. However, errors in measurements and difficulties in supporting the sheet material increase the time per bend, the cost of labour, and wasted material. Accordingly, it would be beneficial to provide the brake user with fixed and demountable gauges allowing for improved accuracy, reduced errors, reduced waste, and reduced need for support personnel. Embodiments of the invention provide for such kits to be provided supporting both fixed and demountable gauges with flexibility in length as well as supporting both ruled dimensions and visual markers / stops.
