Abstract

A natural antimicrobial agent, comprising ingredients in the following contents: 50%-75% of chitosan, 0.5%-2% of nano titanium dioxide, 0.2%-1% of a dispersion co-solvent and 24%-50% of water. Steps for producing the natural antimicrobial agent include: S1: preparing chitosan: crushing natural shellfish, dissolving and then purifying same, and finally grinding same; S2: preparing nano titanium dioxide: using a hydrolysis method, using tetrabutyl titanate as a raw material and anhydrous alcohol as a solvent, and dissolving tetrabutyl titanate in anhydrous alcohol; and S3: mixing the chitosan in S1 and the nano titanium dioxide in S2, heating and continuously stirring same, dissolving same according to a ratio of 1: 5 after cooling, and adding an appropriate amount of the dispersion co-solvent, so as to prepare a finished product. The natural antimicrobial agent is naturally non-toxic, has good antimicrobial properties, and also has maintenance effects on the human body.
