A folding panel system that allows foldable panels, such as folding glass doors, to fold and move around segmented tracks. The system includes a trolley assembly. The trolley assembly can include a pair of dual roller assemblies spaced rigidly apart by a rigid guide member and supported by an overhead guide track. The rigid guide member is positioned outside of the guide track and moves lengthwise along the overhead guide track except between overhead linear track segments. A hinge extension is secured to and extends rigidly away from the rigid guide member vertically away from the guide track. This configuration holds the hinge extension at a constant angle with respect to the guide track. The hinge extension pivotably joins hinge leaves from adjacent panels hingedly joining the two panels.

A high-performance fenestration system that includes a pressure chamber formed between longitudinally adjacent fenestration members. The pressure chamber is positioned on one side of the thermal break. The fenestration system can be configured so to create a continuous pressure chamber around the closed perimeter of the fenestration between the frame and sash. The resulting fenestration system enjoys significantly better water penetration resistance as compared with conventional high-performance doors and windows. Because of the positioning and structural configuration of the pressure chamber, the fenestration system can be configured to accept different hinge styles including Euro-style and American-style hinges without significant loss of performance. In addition, the system can accept American-style door hardware or Euro-style door hardware.

A low-profile cladding system that can be readily applied to doors, windows, fixed light openings, or curtain walls where thermal performance is important. The cladding system utilizes a cladding member in combination with an L-shaped bracket to attach and secure the cladding member to a frame or sash. The cladding member is held to the frame or sash by tension or pressure between opposite ends of the cladding member. This tension is created by the L-shaped bracket in combination with the cladding ends as the L-shaped bracket engages one cladding member end and is pivoted into an indentation, or recess, in the frame or sash. The other cladding member end engages a groove along the side of the frame or sash opposite to the indentation.
Disclosed is quick-release removable cladding for interior fenestration frames, such as the interior frames of doors, window, skylights, or curtain walls. The cladding is held flush against the frame by a pair of brackets or alternatively by a bracket attached to frame and a shaped cavity within the cladding. In one aspect, the pair of brackets can be shaped and arranged so that when engaged, a downward force on the cladding causes the cladding to move flush against the frame. In another aspect, the cladding can be held securely in place to the frame by a keeper bar. The keeper bar can be configured to prevent upward movement of the cladding against the frame.
The invention is a double-hinged sill for adjustable securing the panels of a handrail system to a floor, the sill has U-shaped channel. A pair of hinged plates is pivotally mounted within the channel. A cylindrical hinge member is provided at the bottom end of each of the hinge plates and extends the length of the hinge plate. A groove for receiving the cylindrical hinge member is provided at the bottom of the sill. The pair of hinge plates is aligned within the sill as mirror images. A series of adjustment and locking screws are provided along the length of the sill and extend there through from either the top of the sill or the sides of the sill and a readapted to selectively impinge against the pair of hinge plates to movably adjust the plates inwardly against a glass panel or outwardly away from a glass panel to vertically align the same and lock it into place.
Disclosed is a novel glue laminated timber, or glulam, that simulates the appearance of solid sawn wood. The glulam can be utilized as both a structural and aesthetic element for glass doors and windows as well as other structural applications where appearance might be a consideration. It can also be utilized in furniture making and wood working applications where thick solid furniture-grade exotic hardwood can be utilized and can be difficult to obtain. The lams are stacked along the length of the glulam providing a solid wood outer surface as the widest surface of the glulam. At least one lam is stacked transversely and inset from opposing longitudinal edges to form the appearance of a solid wood surface and cover lamination seams.

VERTICAL AND SLOPED GLAZING FRAMING MEMBERS STRUCTURED FOR ELECTRICAL WIRING
Disclosed is a vertical or a sloped glazing system that facilitates wire routing from electrically producing or consumptive glazing materials such as solar PV panels or electrochromic glass. The glazing system includes vertical and horizontal framing members, each with enclosed cavities and outward facing gutters. The vertical framing member gutter is deeper than the horizontal framing member gutter, creating an offset between the enclosed cavities such that a portion of the vertical wall of the vertical framing member gutter aligns with the enclosed cavity of the horizontal framing member. Electrical wire can be routed from the vertical framing member gutter into the horizontal framing member enclosed cavity through a wire-receiving aperture in the vertical frame member gutter wall portion that is aligned with the horizontal framing member enclosed cavity. This arrangement allows wiring between the outside and inside building environment while minimizing the possibility of water infiltration.
