Abstract

An electronic device includes a housing, a dual-metal assembly, and a baffle. The housing has a through hole. The baffle is movably disposed in the housing. The baffle has at least one opening. The dual-metal assembly is connected to a side of the baffle and includes a first metal and a second metal. A thermal expansion coefficient of the first metal is different from a thermal expansion coefficient of the second metal, so that the dual-metal assembly is adapted to change between an initial state and a deforming state. When the dual-metal assembly is in the initial state, the opening is distant from the through hole. When the dual-metal assembly is in the deforming state, the dual-metal assembly drives the baffle to move, so that at least a portion of the opening is communicable with the through hole.

Abstract

Disclosed is a drive integrated circuit for controlling a traffic light. The drive IC comprises an input end and an output end, an input low-voltage control circuit, a gain control circuit, a driving circuit, an impedance loop and a phase detection circuit. The input low-voltage control circuit connects to the input end of the drive IC, and receives a first external signal. The gain control circuit connects to the input low-voltage control circuit. The driving circuit connects to the gain control circuit. The impedance loop connects to the input end to detect whether the traffic light is damaged. The phase detection circuit connects to the input end to detect a phase difference of the driving signal. By integrating circuits having different detection and control functions in one single chip, the cost of the drive IC decreases and the traffic light can have a less thick structure.

Abstract

A traffic signal light device that includes a spread window, a Fresnel lens, and an LED module for emitting light. The light emitted by the LED module passes through the Fresnel lens and to the spread window. The LED module is disposed at a position that is offset from an axis of the spread window that passes through a center of, and is perpendicular to, the spread window. The Fresnel lens can have a saw-toothed pattern of teeth formed as concentric circles on one surface of the Fresnel lens sharing a common center, where the size or height of the teeth vary. The spread window can have a plurality of protruding cells of varying size on a surface of the spread window.

Abstract

A light-emitting diode (LED) lens for covering a LED light source includes a lens body made of a transparent material. The lens body has a light-exit surface and a light-entrance portion. The light-exit surface is configured along the longitudinal direction into a pair of convex surface areas and a concave surface area interconnecting the convex surface areas. The concave surface area has minimum dimensions smaller than maximum dimensions of each of the convex surface areas along first and second transverse directions. The light-entrance portion is adapted for receiving the LED light source, and has a light-incident surface. The light-incident surface has a pair of end portions opposite to each other along the longitudinal direction and extending inclinedly away from the light-exit surface and away from each other.

Abstract

An LED street light includes a central housing portion having two spaced-apart sidewalls, and two lateral housing portions disposed respectively on two opposite longitudinal sides of the central housing portion. Each lateral housing portion includes a first plate fixed to a respective sidewall and having a first plate opening, a second plate connected to the first plate, a curved plate connected to the second plate, and a reflection layer disposed on the curved plate and facing one of the sidewalls. The first plate and the curved plate of each lateral housing portion have bottom ends defining a bottom opening. A plurality of light-emitting modules are disposed on each sidewall. Each light-emitting module includes at least one LED element, and extends into one of the lateral housing portions through the first plate opening. The reflection layer reflects the light emitted by the LED element toward the bottom opening.

Abstract

A luminaire including a housing with a service compartment that is accessible through an opening in the housing, a light source, electrical components disposed in the service compartment for powering and operating the light source, and a door rotatably connected to the housing for rotation between a closed position where the door covers the opening and an open position where the door does not cover the opening. The rotatable connection includes an asymmetric pin extending from the door and a cavity formed in the housing having a hinge opening of width W. The asymmetric pin has a cross sectional thickness t and a cross sectional height h. Width W is less than height h and greater than thickness t, such that the pin is removable through the hinge opening when the door is in a removal position where the pin thickness t is aligned to the hinge opening width W.
