Abstract
The invention relates to a safety helmet, for example for a cyclist or motorcyclist, with electroluminescent light elements. It comprises a strip (10) provided with two flexible electroluminescent lights (14 and 6), an electronic control circuit (3) and a battery (5) for electrically charging the electroluminescent lights, which are electrically connected to the lights by means of electrodes (7, 8), and battery charging means, all of which are arranged on a polyimide flexible strip (2) or substrate. The battery (5) charging means are wireless magnetic induction charging means. The electroluminescent lights (14 and 6), the electronic control circuit (3), the electrodes (7, 8), and the battery charging means are printed on said flexible strip (2) or substrate. The entire assembly is embedded in a surrounding polycarbonate or polyester plastic.
