Abstract

The invention relates to a machine (100) for planting bulbs, each bulb having a head, the machine (100) comprising: - a hopper (200) for receiving loose bulbs, the hopper (200) having a bulb outlet opening, and - means for depositing the bulbs in a furrow of soil, the machine (100) also comprising means for orienting the bulbs, the means for orienting the bulbs comprising: - a trough, extending between the outlet opening and the depositing means, and - means for driving the bulbs along the trough, the trough being bordered by two walls angled with respect to one another and each having a lower end, the lower ends of the walls defining therebetween a space for receiving the head of the bulbs.
