Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for automatically producing a microfoam, preferably a medical microfoam, particularly a sclerosant foam for use in sclerotherapy as well as a microfoam obtainable by the inventive method and a computer program for use with the automated device. The therapeutic microfoam which is obtained with the invention concept device is technically superior to all microfoams of the prior art, and the foam quality is highly reproducable.
