Abstract

An automatic electric gun assembly includes a sleeve. A piston is arranged within the sleeve. A reciprocating drive mechanism is engaged with the piston to reciprocate the piston to drive air reciprocally towards the distal end. A cylinder head assembly is arranged at on the sleeve. Air driven by the piston can pass through the base. A closure is arranged on the base. A retainer is arranged on the base. The base and the retainer defining a volume so that air can be driven into the volume. A nozzle is in engagement with one of the base and the retainer. The nozzle reciprocates between a retracted position in which an inlet is closed by the closure and an extended position in which the inlet is open. A spring biases the nozzle into the retracted position. Air can act on the nozzle to drive the nozzle into the extended position.
