Abstract

An espresso extraction device and an espresso extraction method are described that utilize a control unit that controls an operation of a valve unit or a pressure unit that adjusts pressure applied to an extraction unit of the device based on sensing data of a sensor unit in the extraction unit. A portafilter can be mounted on a head of the extraction unit, removing bubbles in the pressure unit by filling the pressure unit with a fluid and controlling the operation of the valve unit, removing bubbles in the extraction unit by filling the extraction unit with a fluid and controlling the operation of the valve unit, extracting espresso by exerting pressure to a fluid contained in the extraction unit by operating the pressure unit, receiving extraction pressure in the extraction unit via a sensor unit, and controlling the operation of the pressure unit on the basis of extraction pressure.

A coffee extracting device according to some embodiments of the present disclosure is disclosed. The coffee extracting device may comprise a user interface unit configured to receive an input for adjusting parameters for coffee extraction from a user. Abstract

The present invention relates to espresso extraction device and method. The espresso extraction method is performed by a valve unit which adjusts, on the basis of sensing data of a sensor unit provided in an extraction unit of an espresso extraction device, the pressure applied to the extraction unit, or a control unit which controls the operation of a pressure unit. The espresso extraction method comprises the steps of: mounting a portafilter to a head of the extraction unit; filling the pressure unit with a fluid and controlling the operation of the valve unit to remove bubbles in the pressure unit; filling the extraction unit with a fluid and controlling the operation of the valve unit to remove bubbles in the extraction unit; operating the pressure unit and applying pressure to the fluid filled in the extraction unit to extract espresso; receiving an extraction pressure in the extraction unit via the sensor unit; and controlling the operation of the pressure unit on the basis of the extraction pressure.
