The invention relates to a basket transport device (1) for a cleaning device (2), which comprises a frame (11) for supporting a basket (3) for items to be cleaned, a transport element for moving the basket (3) relative to the frame (11) in a transport direction, a drive magnetic rotor (13) which is mounted so as to be rotatable relative to the frame (11) about a drive axis of rotation that is perpendicular to the transport direction, and a coupling element which is coupled to the drive magnetic rotor (13) and to the transport element. If a torque acts on the drive magnetic rotor (13), the coupling element is configured to transmit the torque to the transport element, so that if the basket (3) is supported by the frame (11), the transport element exerts a force on the basket (3) and thereby moves the basket (3) in the transport direction.

The invention relates to a metering unit (1) for a cleaning device, the metering unit comprising a receiving unit (1) for inserting a cartridge (2), which contains a detergent for a cleaning process of the cleaning device, into the receiving unit and for removing the cartridge (2) from the receiving unit (11). The identification device (12) comprises a first identification unit (121) and a second identification unit (122).
