The present invention relates to a new process for the preparation of OGR products, in particular of a water dispersion comprising chitosan and microfibrillated cellulose, used for coating supports, in particular cellulose supports or fabric with the purpose of returning to the support itself resistance properties or higher resistance with respect to permeation of oils and fatty substances. Such property is requested for example to the packaging of food products starting from cellulose pulp, or even to fabric of various nature which could be exposed to fatty substances and oils. The described preparation method guarantees rheological properties so as to allow the application of the product on geometrically complex surfaces by means of spray coating methods.
