Abstract

The golf bag comprises a container for receiving golf clubs therein, the container comprising a frame and a customizable and replaceable cover, the container defining an enclosure for supporting the golf clubs and for enclosing a shaft portion of the golf clubs, the container having at least one opening for allowing the golf clubs to extend partly out of the enclosure. The golf bag also comprises a display area on the cover comprising a custom display element and a releasable attachment releasably attaching the cover to the frame such that it may be replaced with another cover. The golf bag has openings that allow self-alignment of the golf clubs. The golf bag may be formed with an integrated golf cart that has a relief mechanism to allow the handle of the golf cart to be moved within a certain angular play without triggering a movement of the wheels from their extracted to their retracted position, while the wheels are extracted, to adjust the position of the handle before locking it in place.
