Abstract
A drilling tool for producing drill holes includes a tip and a shaft arranged opposite the tip in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the drilling tool. The drilling tool has at least one geometrically defined cutting edge in the tip area, and has an expanded diameter trailing the tip in a longitudinal direction from the tip. The drilling tool has a first area with a first diameter that precedes the expanded diameter, and a second area with a second diameter, larger than the first diameter, that trails the expanded diameter. The drilling tool is distinguished in that the expanded diameter and/or the second area is/are embodied such that chips are produced in the area of the expanded diameter and/or in the second area when a workpiece is machined, chips consistent with those produced when a workpiece is machined with a geometrically undefined cutting edge.

Abstract
What is proposed is a drill (1) having a tool shank (3), a central axis (5) and a first cutting region (7) with at least one geometrically defined first lip (9; 9'), which has a rake face (23) and is arranged at a radial distance from the central axis (5) of the drill (1), wherein the first lip includes a countersink angle (a) with the central axis. The drill (1) is distinguished by the fact that the first lip (9; 9') is assigned a chip breaker, which is formed by the rake face (23) of the first lip (9; 9') and by a shoulder face (31) which adjoins the rake face (23) and includes a shoulder angle (δ) therewith, wherein the shoulder angle (δ) is greater than 90°, preferably greater than 100°, that the rake face (23) runs at a radial rake angle (ε) with respect to an imaginary radial line (L) which intersects the first lip (9') assigned to the rake face (23), and that the radial rake angle (ε) is positive.

Abstract
The invention relates to a combination tool (1) for producing a surface structure with undercuts in a surface of a workpiece, which in particular is a cylinder block of an internal combustion engine, wherein the combination tool (1) comprises at least two guide bars (9), a material-removing cutting tool (5) and a shaping tool (6), the cutting tool (5) has at least one structuring tooth for forming a groove-like depression in the surface, and the cutting tool (5) and the shaping tool (6) are arranged so as to project beyond the guide bars (9). The invention further relates to a method for producing a surface structure with undercuts in a surface of a workpiece, which is in particular a cylinder block of an internal combustion engine, in which, in a first method step, uniform groove-like depressions are introduced into the surface and, with a time offset in relation thereto, in a second method step, the lands arranged between the depressions are deformed plastically in such a way that undercuts are formed in the depression. In order to permit the plastic deformation of the land structure in order to form the undercuts with little expenditure of force, according to the invention a combination tool (1) in which the shaping tool (6) is a sphere or section of a sphere, and a method in which, in the second method step, a sphere is moved along at least one land as a shaping tool (6) for the plastic deformation of said land are provided.
