Abstract

The invention relates in particular to an elastic ribbon (2) for producing a knitted item (7), in particular an item of clothing. The ribbon comprises knitted threads (5; 6) forming interlinked loops, the knitted threads comprising polyamide and/or polyester multifilaments covering an elastane filament, the amount of polyamide and/or polyester multifilament present being between 70% and 80% by weight, and the amount of elastane filament present being between 20% and 30% by weight.
