Abstract

Described is a device (100) for stirring a mixture, in particular a mixture for beer wort, comprising a first and a second bushing (10a, 10b) connected or connectable to a supporting arm (200) of a vat (T), a blade (20) configured for mixing the mixture and a first rod (31) and a second rod (32) parallel to each other and extending between an upper end (31a, 32a) and a lower end connected to the blade (20). The first and second rods (31, 21) are inserted in a slidable fashion in respective bushes (10a, 10b) in such a way as to be simultaneously movable by translation along an axial direction of movement (M) at least between a rest position and an operating position. The stirring device (100) also comprises a locking element (40) connected or connectable to the supporting arm (200) in such a way as to be interposed between the first and the second rods (31, 32). The locking element (40) being configured to define an end of stroke when the blade (20) is in the operating position and a point for supporting the blade (20) when the blade (20) is in the rest position.
