Abstract

The present invention relates to a windrower comprising a central body (9) on which a drawbar (4) for coupling to a tractor (2) and a coupling piece (5) for fastening to a baler (3) are disposed, a pair of arms (10), joined to the central body (9), and a rake (11) joined to each arm (10), wherein the drawbar (4) is joined to the central body (9) by means of a first joint (6) and a first cylinder (7) that joins the drawbar (4) to the central body (9) to regulate the height of the windrower (1), and the rake (11) is joined to the arm (10) by a second joint (12) and comprises a second cylinder (13) and a third cylinder (14) for adjusting the position of the rakes (11) with respect to the pickup of the baler (3), the windrower being couplable to any tractor and baler.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a windrower rake consisting of a comb (1) and a rotor having a special configuration that makes it possible to optimise the windrowing system, avoiding material loss and forage entanglement in the rotating areas of the machine, thereby increasing the performance and efficiency of the machine. The comb (1) contains a plurality of teeth (3) arranged along several horizontal bars (4) which, in turn, are mounted on either side on two rotating disks (5) that rotate about a horizontal shaft (6). The blade rotor (2) is located above and in front of the comb (1), including a transverse horizontal shaft (7) to which a plurality of teeth (8), blades or disks distributed along the length thereof, are rigidly connected, partially covered by a casing (9).
