Abstract

The method for suppressing formation of a high-melting-point pipe-clogging substance includes disposing a urea-solution supply pipe (6) configured to supply pressurized air and a urea solution into a pipe through which exhaust gas flows, connecting a urea-solution spray nozzle (7) near a tip of the urea-solution supply pipe (6), providing a mixing section (8) configured to mix the exhaust gas flowing through the pipe and a sprayed urea solution sprayed from the urea-solution spray nozzle (7), circumferentially providing a metal sheet (9) on all or part of an inner wall surface of the pipe in a belt-like manner around the mixing section (8), and forming a hydrolysis catalyst layer (10) configured to promote hydrolysis of urea on an inner surface of the metal sheet (9).

Abstract

An annular valve in which the shape of a sealing surface of a valve body is optimized thus suppressing the occurrence of pressure loss in gas on the periphery of the sealing surface and extending the service life of the annular valve. The annular valve comprises: a valve seat 10 formed in a plate-like shape and including passage flow channels 11 each having an opening cross section formed in an arcuate shape; a receiving plate 20 formed in a plate-like shape and having discharge flow channels 21, the receiving plate 20 being arranged to face the valve seat 10 by way of an intermediate chamber 50; a valve body 30 formed in an annular shape corresponding to the arcuate shape of the opening cross section of the passage flow channel 11 and being arranged in the intermediate chamber 50, the valve body 30 being brought into contact with/separated from the valve seat 10 so as to open/close the passage flow channel 11; and a plurality of spring members 40 supported by the receiving plate 20, the spring members 40 each biasing elastically the valve body 30 toward the valve seat 10. A sealing surface 31 of the valve body 30 that faces the passage flow channel 11 is formed in a shape where at least one of pressure loss elements with respect to gas flowing towards the valve body 30 from the passage flow channel 11 is eliminated.

Abstract

Provided are a control system for a container crane and a control method for a container crane in which the time necessary for position adjustment between the spreader and the landing surface is reduced and the cargo handling efficiency is improved. A control system of a container crane has a camera, a display device, position acquisition devices, and a control device. Based on the plane positions of a spreader and a landing surface acquired by the position acquisition devices, the control device superimposes, on an image captured by the camera, an indication display from which it is understood that the positions of the spreader and the landing surface have agreed with each other in plan view, and the control device displays a resultant image with the image and the indication display superimposed on the display device.

Abstract

In one surface of a ring member, a plurality of incision grooves incised in a radial direction from an inner peripheral edge up to an appropriate position and those incised from an outer peripheral edge to an appropriate position are alternately formed, and in the other surface, incision grooves continuing from the inner peripheral edge up to the outer peripheral edge are formed. In order to adapt to the expansion and the contraction due to a temperature change and a change in shape and dimension due to abrasion, the inner incision grooves and the outer incision grooves increase/decrease in width, causing the packing to expand/contract in the circumferential direction, so that the packing is capable of maintaining its contact state with a shaft to minimize the leakage of the fluid.

Abstract

Provided are a control system and a control method for cranes which, by reducing the distortion of a structural member, are capable of shortening the time necessary for correcting positional deviations and directional deviations resulting from the distortion, thereby improving the efficiency of cargo handling work. A control system includes receivers and a control device and is configured in such a way that the control device adjusts the speed of each of paired propelling devices based on the coordinates of positions determined by the receivers to perform control to decrease the change in relative positions between the receivers in plan view.

Abstract

Provided is a crane which can suppress deformation and vibration of a crane structure in travel and stop of the crane. Inverters are installed respectively in travel devices which are arranged on the opposite sides with a gap in a transverse direction. Each of the inverters independently measures a torque generated in a motors to which the inverter is connected and reduces the rotation speed in the command from a controller to the motor such that the greater the measured torque is, the greater a ratio of reduction is.

Abstract

The present invention prevents a gas generated by evaporating a low-temperature liquid from remaining in an internal space of a booster pump and enhances efficiency of discharge and suction. A reciprocating booster pump 50 includes a cylinder 41, a piston 42, a suction check valve 65, and a discharge check valve 62. The cylinder 41 has a suction port 55 and a discharge port 56. The suction port 55 suctions a low-pressure, low-temperature liquid to an inside. The discharge port 56 boosts the low-temperature liquid and discharges the low-temperature liquid to an outside. The piston 42 reciprocates in an internal space 43 of the cylinder. The suction check valve 65 opens and closes a suction flow passage 64 between the internal space and the suction port. The discharge check valve 62 opens and closes a discharge flow passage 61 between the internal space and the discharge port. The suction check valve is configured such that if a relative pressure at the internal space establishing a pressure of the low-temperature liquid before being suctioned into the cylinder as a criterion is higher than a predetermined pressure, the suction check valve closes.

The wafer are arranged at an outer circumferential side of the susceptor. The induction heating coils are structured with at least one main heating coil and subordinate heating coils electromagnetically coupled with the main heating coil. Abstract

The ion implanter includes lens elements that arrange unit lens elements along a direction of a beam width of a ribbon ion beam and regulate a magnetic field or electric field to be created by each unit lens element in order to regulate a current density distribution of the ion beam, and a controlling portion that sets the intensity of the magnetic field or electric field to be created by the unit lens element to be regulated by the lens elements in accordance with the measured current density distribution. The regulation intensity of the magnetic field or electric field to be created by the unit lens element that corresponds to a position to be regulated in the unit lens elements of the lens elements is determined from the measured current density distribution and a value obtained by multiplying the determined regulation intensity by a fixed ratio is determined as the regulation intensity of the magnetic field or electric field for the magnetic field or electric field to be created by a unit lens element adjacent to the unit lens element.
