A transportable combustion air heater (1) comprises a transportable supporting frame (2), a housing (3) fixed to the frame (2), a cylindrical combustion chamber (14) arranged in housing (3), a cylindrical annular thermal exchange channel (24) formed around the combustion chamber, an external heating chamber (26) defining an annular fume channel (27) around the thermal exchange channel (24), in which one or more transversal guide walls (43) are arranged in the external heating chamber, which guide walls (43) lengthen flow paths of the fumes (12) in the annular fume channel (27) from fume inlet openings (31) to an exhaust fume opening (32).

Abstract

Movable fluid fuel heater (1) to heat air and to introduce it into an environment to be heated, comprising a combustion chamber (2); a fluid fuel supply duct (3) arranged to dispense said fluid fuel into said combustion chamber (2), a forced ventilation device (10) arranged to withdraw oxidizing air (11) from the exterior of the heater (1) and to introduce said oxidizing air into the combustion chamber (2), so that said oxidizing air can react with said fluid fuel to carry out a combustion in the combustion chamber (2); a flow rate variator device (20) configured to vary the oxidizing air flow rate introduced in the combustion chamber (2) by said forced ventilation device (10), between a minimum flow rate value and a maximum flow rate value; a reference device (40) comprising a plurality of reference values of a parameter representative of the pressure (42) and a plurality of reference temperature values (43) of the environmental air upstream of the combustion chamber (2), said reference device being configured to suggest an optimal setting value (41) to set the flow rate variator device (20), at each pair of values formed by a value of said plurality of reference values of a parameter representative of the pressure (42) and a value of said plurality of reference temperature values (43).

A fuel portable heater (1) comprises a combustion chamber (2) with a tubular side wall (3), a housing (7) having a tubular wall (8) extending externally about the side wall (3) of the combustion chamber (2), an annular space (9) formed between the side wall (3) and the tubular wall (8), an electric fan (10) received in the housing (7) and actuatable to convey a heating air flow (11) through the annular space (9), a Seebeck effect thermoelectric converter (12) connected to the side wall (3) in a thermal exchange relationship with the combustion chamber (2) and with the annular space (9), guide surfaces (15) formed in the annular space (9) so as to deviate at least one part of the heating air flow (11) from at least one first circumferential area (16) of the annular space (9) towards at least one second circumferential area (17) of the annular space (9), wherein the thermoelectric converter (12) is located at the second circumferential area (17).
