Abstract
The invention relates to a toothing processing machine comprising a machine frame and a spindle carrier having a first spindle. The spindle comprises a first spindle housing and a first spindle shaft, which is arranged in the first spindle housing such that it can rotate about a first spindle axis, and a free end for receiving a work piece or a tool. A second spindle is also provided having a second spindle housing and a second spindle shaft for receiving a tool or work piece, wherein the second spindle shaft is mounted in the second spindle housing such that it can rotate about a second spindle axis. In addition, at least one wall of the machine frame forms a part of the casing of a closable working chamber, in which the work piece can be processed and which can be closed in order to prevent the release of a material removal, a processing liquid and/or a processing mist from the working chamber into other machine regions or to the outside. The spindle carrier is also arranged on the machine frame such that it can move in the direction of the first spindle axis. In addition, the closable working chamber includes the free end of the first spindle shaft and at least sections of the second spindle shaft. According to the invention, the toothing processing machine comprises a bellows, securely connected to the spindle carrier on a first side and to the at least one wall of the machine frame on a second side, wherein the bellows borders the closable working chamber at at least one point in such a way that a part of the spindle carrier is permanently positioned outside of the working chamber. In this way, the bellows is able to commence a relative movement in the direction of the first spindle axis between the spindle carrier and the machine frame, via a moving apart and together.

Abstract
The invention relates to a machine (1) for honing gears comprising a workpiece spindle (54), the spindle axis of which is oriented vertically, wherein a workpiece to be machined can be attached in the region of a free end of the workpiece spindle (54), a honing-ring carrier (60), in which a honing ring for machining the workpiece attached to the workpiece spindle (54) can be clamped and can be rotationally driven about a central axis of the honing ring, and a machine frame (10), on which the workpiece spindle (54) and the honing-ring carrier (60) are supported. The machine frame (10) surrounds the honing-ring carrier (60). In addition, the honing-ring carrier (60) is supported on two bearing points (21, 22) of the machine frame, which are substantially diametrically opposite with respect to the honing-ring carrier (60), in such a way that the honing-ring carrier can be moved linearly along a horizontal axis that extends through the bearing points (21, 22) and can be moved rotationally about said axis. The machine has a simple and compact construction. The machine frame (11) is used not only as structural element for supporting the individual components of the machine (1) and all necessary axes but also at least partially to form a working space, in which the machining occurs.

Abstract
A machine for machining workpieces comprises a machine frame (110, 120), a honing ring carrier (60) which is mounted on the machine frame and in which a honing ring or a honing ring blank is able to be clamped and is drivable in rotation about its central axis, and a workpiece spindle module (50) having a workpiece spindle (54), wherein a workpiece to be machined with the honing ring clamped in the honing ring carrier (60) is fittable in the region of a free end of the workpiece spindle (54). The machine also comprises a grinding module (130) for profiling a honing ring by grinding a honing ring blank, wherein the grinding module (130) is arranged on the machine frame (110, 120) such that a grinding disc of the grinding module (130) can be positioned within a truly three-dimensional region relative to the honing ring carrier (60). The profiling of a honing ring and the honing of a workpiece can thus take place in the same set-up of the honing ring. As a result, problems which arise on account of imprecise centring during (re)mounting of the honing ring are avoided. A honing-ring-specific externally profiled tool, for example a diamond toothed wheel, is not required to produce the honing ring.

Abstract
A device for producing embossed structures in a surface (5a) of a cylinder (5) comprises an electromechanical engraving unit with a stylus (4), which is movably mounted on a base of the engraving unit for working the surface (5a), a drive (23) for moving the stylus (4) in relation to the base, in a direction perpendicular to the surface (5a) of the cylinder, and a mechanism for setting and maintaining a basic distance between the base of the engraving unit and the surface (5a) of the cylinder (5). The electrochemical engraving makes it possible to produce embossed structures on cylinder surfaces (5a) quickly and at low cost. Used for example as basic elements for the embossing cylinders are copper-coated engraving cylinders (5), which, once the embossed structures have been introduced, are provided with a chromium film to increase the hardness and resistance.
