Abstract

The invention relates to an anti-ram vehicle barrier device (1), comprising welded steel blocks (3), spaced apart from each other and connected by round steel tubes (4) having an intermediate portion (4a) bordered by two flanges (5), a female end (4b), and a male end (4c) to engage with the female end (4b) of an adjacent tube, the male and female ends being equipped with assembly components, the flanges (5) of two tubes (4) laterally constraining the blocks (3), while allowing the rotation of the blocks (3) around the tubes (4) to pivot upwards when struck by a vehicle (2), so as to lift the front of the blocks (3) to collide with the vehicle (2), causing significant damage to stop its motion. According to the invention, the intermediate portion (4a) and the female end (4b) of the tubes (4) have a thickness of at least 3 mm, while the male end (4c) has a thickness of at least 5 mm, and each block (3) comprises at least two elements (3a), positioned side by side, and each comprising two steel plates (6) connected by a sleeve (6a) traversed by the tubes (4), and by spacers (7), the plates (6) being provided with protruding parts (8) to prevent the elements (3a) from sliding on the ground when struck.

Abstract

The invention relates to an anti-ram vehicle device (1), which includes: - a base (2); - at least one post (3) pivotably connected to the base (2), between an inoperative position in which it does not obstruct the passage of a vehicle, and an operative position in which it obstructs the passage of a vehicle; - at least one connecting rod (6), a first end of which is hingedly connected to the post (3), and a second end of which includes a connecting rod shaft (7) slidably mounted in an opening (8) of the base (2). The device (1) is characterised in that it includes a damping means (10) configured so that, in the event of a vehicle impact, at least some of the force is absorbed by the damping means (10), the damping means (10) being arranged at the opening (8), at the end of the travel of the connecting rod shaft (7).

Abstract

The invention relates to an anti-ram vehicle barrier (1) comprising welded steel teeth (20) that are spaced apart from one another and connected to one another, characterised in that the teeth (20) are connected by at least two shafts (30) mounted in through-holes (23) in the teeth (20), the shafts (30) comprising at least one steel crossmember (32) having an intermediate portion bordered by two flanges (34), two ends fitted with assembly members and two end plates (31) that have a span bordered by a flange (34), one end being provided with assembly members. The assembly members are designed to connect two crossmembers (32) or a crossmember (32) and a plate (31) to one another so that each tooth (20) is laterally constrained by two flanges (34).

Abstract

The invention relates to a ram-raid barrier device (1) comprising mechanically welded steel blocks (3) spaced apart from one another and connected to one another by round steel tubes (4) having an intermediate portion (4a) bordered by two flanges (5), a female end (4b), and a male end (4c) to engage with the female end (4b) of an adjacent tube, the male and female ends being equipped with assembly members, the flanges (5) of two tubes (4) laterally constraining the blocks (3) while allowing the blocks (3) to rotate about the tubes (4) to pivot upwards when they are struck by a vehicle (2), so as to raise the front of the blocks (3) such that they collide with the vehicle (2) while causing significant damage thereto in order to arrest the travel thereof. According to the invention, the intermediate portion (4a) and the female end (4b) of the tubes (4) have a thickness of at least 3 mm, whereas the male end (4c) has a thickness of at least 5 mm, and each block (3) comprises at least two elements (3a) positioned side by side and each comprising two steel plates (6) connected to one another by a sleeve (6a) traversed by the tubes (4), and by spacers (7), the plates (6) being provided with projecting parts (8) to prevent the elements (3a) from sliding on the ground when they are struck.
