Abstract

Disclosed is a computer-implemented method and system for generating MIDI-based notations. The method comprises receiving, via a first input module of a user interface, a musical note, receiving, via a second input module of the user interface, one or more parameters to be associated with the musical note, wherein the one or more parameters comprise at least one of an arrangement context providing information about an event for the musical note, a pitch context providing information about a pitch for the musical note, and an expression context providing information about one or more articulations for the musical note, and generating a notation output based on the entered musical note and the added one or more parameters associated therewith.

Abstract

In general terms the present disclosure proposes a computer-implemented method for editing a digital musical score. The computer-implemented method comprises receiving, by at least one processor, the digital musical score that is to be edited, wherein the digital musical score includes musical notations associated with at least one musical instrument in vertical alignment. Moreover, the computer-implemented method comprises receiving a first input indicative of one of: creation of a new section in the digital musical score, selection of a previously-created section in the digital musical score, via an interactive user interface rendered on a user device associated with a user. Furthermore, the computer-implemented method comprises receiving a second input indicative of an edit required in the new section or in the previously-created section, via the interactive user interface and modifying, using the at least one processor, the digital musical score for implementing the edit in the new section or in the previously-created section.

Abstract

Disclosed is a computer-implemented method and system for generating musical notations for a musical score. The method comprises receiving, via a first user interface, a musical note event of the musical score, processing, via a processing arrangement, the received musical note event of the musical score to determine one or more relevant music profile definitions therefor, defining, via the processing arrangement, one or more parameters to be associated with the received musical note event of the musical score based, at least in part, on the determined one or more relevant music profile definitions therefor and generating, via the processing arrangement, at least one notation output for the received musical note event of the musical score based on the defined one or more parameters associated therewith.
