Abstract
A process for self-recovering from document processing disturbances in a flexible document receiving and dispensing device (100) comprising one or more flexible document storing and dispensing modules (125A, 125B, 125C, 125D, 125E, 125F), wherein each one of said one or more flexible document storing and dispensing modules is configured to store a respective group of flexible documents, wherein each flexible document is individually identified by a univocal code associated thereto, wherein the process comprises the following steps: A. during a storing operation (300), one or more flexible documents are stored according to the following substeps: A.1 recognising the group of flexible documents and reading the univocal code from each one of said one or more flexible documents; and A.2 for each group of flexible documents, storing the univocal codes read at step A.1 in a memory unit of the respective flexible document storing and dispensing module, whereby such univocal codes are stored in a code storage sequence univocally associated to an expected code dispensing sequence including one or more expected univocal codes; B. during a dispensing operation (400), for each one of one or more flexible documents to be dispensed, performing the following substeps: B.1 reading the univocal code from the flexible document to be dispensed, B.2 comparing the univocal code read at step B.1 with the expected univocal code in the expected code dispensing sequence; B.3 when the compared codes are different, discarding flexible documents from the respective flexible document storing and dispensing module until it is recognised that a subsequence of discarded flexible documents is identical to a subsequence of expected univocal codes, otherwise B.4 dispensing (440) the flexible document.

Abstract
A device (1) for validating flexible documents comprises an input portion (2), an output portion (3) and an intermediate portion (4) interposed between the input portion (2) and the output portion (3), through which each of the flexible documents is moved by means of movement members (5) along a movement direction (6), at least one sensor (7) positioned at the intermediate portion (4) and a deflector element (8), conformed as a laminar element, which protrudes from a bottom of the intermediate portion (4) and is configured to deflect the dynamics of the flexible document so as to bring it against the at least one sensor (7).

Abstract
A storing and issuing module (10) including a storage roller (50), a motor (60) associated with the storage roller (50), at least one transport tape (52) configured to wrap onto the storage roller (50) together with flexible documents, such as banknotes, conveyed in a conveying section provided with holding means (53, 54) actuatable for engaging flexible documents to be stored or issued with the transport tape (52), wherein the storing and issuing module (50) is capable of handling large storage capacity thanks to a mechanical layout that minimizes variations in the conveying section despite the great variations of the outer diameter of the storage roller due to the large capacity thereof.

Abstract
A double storing and issuing device (11) for two banknotes denomination (12) and/or other flexible documents, for use in an equipment for the automatic processing of banknotes, where each storing and issuing device includes a storage roller (50a, 50b), relative motor (60a, 60b), at least a transport tape (52a, 52b) provided for wrapping on the storage roller together with the banknotes (12). The two storage rollers (50a, 50b) can share the space between them because the transport tape (52a), tensioned by storage roller motor (60a) and feeding-roller (51a), pushing against accompanying rollers (74a) strictly follows storage roller (50a) diameter. The double storing and issuing device (11) comprises an electronic unit (65) for the storage roller motors (60a, 60b) and relative transport tapes (52a, 52b) revolution sensors (67a, 67b), that provides a device full status as any possible combination of storage roller (50a, 50b) diameter plus a minimum gap to avoid mechanical reciprocal interferences.
