The present portable outdoor accessory securement apparatus is designed to secure outdoor accessories, such as a clothesline, using the tow hitch coupler of a caravan, trailer, or similar vehicle. It includes an inground anchor and an adapter with a hitch engagement. The adapter connects to the anchor and the hitch engagement attaches to the hitch coupler, ensuring the accessory cannot be removed while engaged. The anchor may feature a ground stake that can be easily inserted into the ground with a footplate. The adapter's height is adjustable due to its slidable engagement with the anchor, allowing for precise alignment with the hitch and disconnects only when the adapter is raised sufficiently above the height of the hitch coupling. The hitch engagement may be suitable for D035 pin or ball-type hitch couplings or may have an interchangeable design for both hitch types.
