The process includes a step of selecting the vehicle configuration between a first manufacturing configuration and a second manufacturing configuration, The width of the vehicle in the first manufacturing configuration is less than that of the vehicle in the second manufacturing configuration. The common central group of elements is identical in both manufacturing configurations. In the first manufacturing configuration, each side sill panel is fixed to one face of the battery. The vehicle in the second configuration further includes two interface pieces, each fixed between one of the side sill panels and the corresponding face of the battery.

Abstract
