Abstract

The invention relates to a detector for detecting objects such as pests (for instance thrips and/or whiteflies) or pollen, applying only a single motor to capture images of the catch surface of the detector. To this end, the detector is equipped with an axial thread, permitting both the rotation and vertical movement of the catch surface, thereby facilitating the exposure of the cylindrical catch surface to the connected digital camera.
