Abstract
The extrusion tool (4) for producing a monolithic honeycomb body comprises a tool body (5) with an inlet side (6) and an outlet side (2) for a material to be extruded. With regard to a simple production of the extrusion tool (4), several continuous channels (18) are provided in the tool body (5), each of which have a continuous edge-free tapering between an inlet-sided inlet opening (8) and an outlet-sided outlet opening (20). The channels (18) are preferably introduced by means of a wire erosion method. The edge-free tapering allows for good flow capabilities during the extrusion process. The wire erosion method is preferably carried out in two steps and allows the inlet and outlet openings being freely variable.

Abstract
A process for the gentle and efficient drying of a ceramic honeycomb body is specified. The process is suitable for achieving, with uniform drying of the honeycomb body, a short drying time and low shrinkage of the honeycomb body. For this, the honeycomb body which is in a moist prefabrication state is frozen and the moisture is removed from the frozen honeycomb body under reduced pressure.

Abstract
The invention relates to a bending actuator element (1, 40) comprising a protective casing (3) and a bending actuator (4) accommodated therein, and a flat support (6) and a piezoelectrically active coating (7) applied to at least one side thereof. The bending actuator (4) is substantially enclosed by the protective casing (3) and is directly fastened in the protective casing (3) with its fixed end (9). The invention further relates to a bending actuator module (28) having a plurality of said bending actuator elements (1, 40). The fact that the bending actuator (4) is immobilized inside a protective casing (3) allows a unit that can be easily mounted, the risk of being damaged due to the destruction of the piezoelectric coating (7) during mounting or transport being substantially reduced compared to bending actuators of the prior art.

Abstract
A catalyst (1) is specified for the cleaning of oxygenous exhaust gases (5) of a combustion unit, especially of a combustion engine operated with an air excess, comprising a reduction catalyst (2) for the selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides present in the exhaust gas (5) by means of a reducing agent, and an oxidation catalyst (3) installed on the downstream side of the reduction catalyst (2) for oxidizing the reducing agent. It is envisaged that the oxidation catalyst (3) is installed over a region upstream of the reduction catalyst (2) which is 1-19% of the total catalyst volume. The reduction catalyst (2) is composed of a number of individual catalysts (15, 16) together, the oxidation catalyst (3) being installed as the last individual catalyst(s) in the downstream direction. In various uses, the catalyst (1) achieves a high conversion of nitrogen oxides with avoidance of reducing agent slippage and undesired side reactions.
