Abstract

The invention relates to a thermokinetic mixer (1) for melt-mixing plastics waste products, in which thermokinetic mixer a mixing chamber (10) is provided, which is enclosed by a housing (2). The mixing chamber (10) is penetrated by a shaft (6) that can be connected to a drive unit, wherein mixing blades (16) protruding radially from the shaft (6) are provided in the mixing chamber (10). The mixing blades (16) have a main body (17) with a through-opening (18) for the shaft (6) to pass through and blade elements (19) which extend radially from the main body (17) and are arranged offset from one another on the main body (17). The blade elements (19) each comprise a first and a second blade lateral surface (23, 24), wherein the first blade lateral surface (23) extends in parallel with a blade element (19) longitudinal axis extending radially from the through opening (18), and the second blade lateral surface (24) opposite the first blade lateral surface is convex or concave.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for producing a moulded body (10), in which method plastics waste (1) is comminuted. Impurities can be removed from the comminuted plastics waste (1). Subsequently, the comminuted plastics waste (1) is agglomerated together with natural fibres (5) such that a stable intermediate product (6) is provided, wherein the intermediate product (6) is fed to a mixing device (7) and mixed, and the resulting mixed material (8) is ejected from the mixing device (7) and fed to a pressing device (9) which presses the shaped body (10) from the mixed material (8).

Abstract

A method produces a shaped body from plastic waste and thermoplastic material including natural fiber components or thermoplastic material and natural fibers. Plastic waste and thermoplastic plastic including natural fiber components or thermoplastic plastic and natural fibers are introduced into a mixing device. The introduced materials are subsequently mixed in such a way that the materials are comminuted and at least partially melted, so that a substantially moldable base material is available after mixing. This at least partially melted base material is transferred into a mold for shaping the shaped body.

Abstract

A thermokinetic mixer for melt mixing plastics waste includes a housing enclosing a mixing chamber, and a shaft protruding through the mixing chamber and connectable to a drive unit. In the mixing chamber, Y-shaped mixing blades protrude radially from the shaft, wherein the free end of the mixing blades protruding into the mixing chamber is cuboid, and the end opposite the free end of the mixing blades has two legs in each case having at least one through bore. The shaft has polygonal recesses, in which recesses the legs can be fastened by a fastener protruding through the through bores.
