The present invention relates to a method of detecting clustering of Rat Sarcoma Vims (Ras) protein in a cell comprising culturing the cells on an array of nanostructures and detecting the clustering of Ras protein around the nanostructures by using optical microscopy. In one embodiment, the nanostructures are nanobars. The invention further relates to the use of the method in identifying the isoform or mutation status of Ras protein, and anti-Ras drug screening.

Abstract
POSTURE CORRECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF The present invention relates to a system (100) for posture correction and a method thereof. The system (100) detects and analyses a posture of the user, and compares it with a set of pre-recorded healthy postures. The system (100) provides the 5 pseudo-haptic feedback to the user, if an incorrect posture maintained for a certain time period above a pre-defined threshold value is detected. The system (100) includes an input unit (101) for detecting the body posture of the user, a feedback computation unit (102) for determining if a feedback is required based on the current posture of the user, and an output unit (103) configured to provide the 10 pseudo-haptic feedback to the user. The feedback computation unit (102) is configured to determine an intensity and a time duration of the feedback to be provided to the user.
A voltage-to-time converter (VTC) includes: a first inverter electrically connected between a first node, to which a clock signal is applied, and a second node, a first buffer electrically connected to the second node and to output a first output signal, a second inverter electrically connected between a third node, to which the clock signal is applied, and a fourth node, a second buffer electrically connected to the fourth node to output a second output signal, a first linearization circuit configured to receive a first input signal and electrically connected between the first node and the second node, and a second linearization circuit configured to receive a second input signal and electrically connected between the third node and the fourth node.

Abstract
A hybrid manufacturing method and a device made thereby. The method includes: laser writing a border on a receiving surface of a substrate, the border defining an internal zone inside the border and an external zone outside the border, the border being a part of the substrate that is changed in its material properties by the laser writing; depositing a material in the internal zone, the material being deposited in an uncured state on the receiving surface, wherein a flow of the material from the internal zone towards the external zone is impeded by the border; and at least partially curing the material in the internal zone, the at least partially cured material forming a layer.
This document describes a virtual sensor module for generating spatial-temporal temperature measurements of a battery and a method of using the virtual sensor module to generate the above-mentioned measurements. The virtual sensor module utilizes a Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller module communicatively coupled to a trained convolutional neural network—long-short-term memory (CNN-LSTM) module to trigger the trained CNN-LSTM module to generate a refined predicted series of real temperature sequences across the battery, based on a set of optimized PID parameters (K*p, K*i, K*d), predicted error sequences, and measured temperature sequences of the battery.

There is provided an apparatus for a cellulose-based vertical flow assay, the apparatus comprising: a holder for supporting a cellulose substrate having a plurality of test zones thereon, the holder having a base plate and engaging members; and a lid for reversibly engaging with the engaging members of the holder such that when engaged, the lid is disposed over the base plate and a gap exists between the lid and the base plate, wherein the lid comprises a plurality of openings for allowing access to the test zones on the cellulose substrate.
