Abstract
The present invention relates to medicinal plant extracts acting as β2 receptor agonist. More specifically, this invention relates to extracts from one or more medicinal plants or parts of the plants, such as Euphorbiae kansui, Anthriscus sylvestris, Croton Tiglium, Aconitum carmichaeli, Daphne genkwa, Calystegia soldanellan and Sapium japonicum, wherein the extracts enhance β2 receptor activity and relieve airway contraction of an asthmatic patient. This invention also relates to a method of extracting medicinal plant constituents more efficiently, and relates to raw materials, functional foods or natural product medicines, which contain the medicinal plant extracts, for preventing and treating asthma.

Abstract
This invention relates to a gonadotropin-releasing hormone-2 (GnRH-2) antagonist, trptorelix-1 and its analogues. In accordance with the present invention, the trptorelix-1 and its analogues induce apoptosis of a prostate cancer cell. Therefore, the trptorelix-1 and its analogues can be used to treat prostate cancer.
