Disclosed is a transmission mechanism for a double-blade electric saw, comprising a gear transmission set driven into rotation by a motor (2) and installed in a housing (1), a first saw blade (14) and a second saw blade (15). The first saw blade (14) is installed on a first base (6), the second saw blade is installed on a second base (7), a first rack (8) is mounted on the first base (6), a second rack (9) is mounted on the second base (7), the first rack (8) and the second rack (9) are concurrently in meshing connection with an intermediate gear (10), and an output end of the gear transmission set is drivingly connected to the first base (6); the middle part of the intermediate gear (10) is provided with a gear shaft (11) and both ends of the gear shaft (11) are rotatably connected to the housing (1). Compared with the prior art, the travel of a saw strip can be significantly changed without increasing associated dimensions of the housing, thereby greatly increasing the cutting efficiency.

A hand-held circular saw guard locking mechanism comprises a housing (1) having a hand-held tail portion for gripping and a working head, wherein the housing (1) is provided with a driving mechanism therein; a blade (2) driven by the driving mechanism and rotatablely disposed in the working head, wherein at least a portion of the blade (2) forwardly protrudes from the working head; a guard (3) used for enclosing the blade (2) protruding from the working head, wherein the guard (3) is rotatablely disposed on the housing (1), and is provided with an elongated opening (7) thereon which is used for the blade (2) to protrude from the guard (3) when the guard (3) is rotated backward relative to the working head; wherein a locking mechanism capable of restricting the rotating of the guard (3) and unlocking the restriction under external force is provided on the outer wall of the housing (1). Compared with the prior art, the guard (3) can be moved to use the circular saw only when the locking of the guard (3) is unlocked by the locking mechanism, thereby avoiding the harm to the user by the protruding of the blade (2) due to mis-operating, therefore the use of the circular saw is safer.

Abstract

A casing mechanism of a circular saw includes a housing (1) provided with parts in it, a saw blade (2) provided on the top of the housing (1), a part of which is in the housing (1), and the other part of which is out of the housing (1), and a cover (3) provided on the housing (1) for enclosing the blade (2). The blade (2) can extend out of the cover (3) through a narrow and long hole (4) which is provided on the end face of the cover (3), and an end of the cover (3) is pivotally joined to the top end of the housing (1). A position-limiting mechanism for the cover (3) can also be provided on the housing (1). In the invention, because the cover (3) is pivotally jointed to the housing (1), the fitting structure between the cover (3) and the housing (1) is simple, and the operation for moving the cover (3) is very simple and convenient. Just under working pressure, the cover (3) can turn so as to make the blade (2) extend out of the cover (3) to cut, and the cutting depth of the circular saw can be ensured to be accurate due to the position-limiting mechanism of the cover (3).
