Abstract

An object of the present invention is to make a joined portion of a metal wire less likely to catch on other components and the like. A hollow cylindrical filter 200 is formed by winding one or a plurality of metal wires 220 in a helical and multilayered manner so that metal wire portions adjacent to each other in a direction toward an inner or outer diameter side extend in directions crossing each other. The filter includes a deformed joining part 231 including a first metal wire portion 220A having been pressed and deformed and a second metal wire portion 220B having been pressed and deformed via the first metal wire portion and joined to the first metal wire portion by resistance spot welding, where the deformed joining part penetrates into a communication space positioned at an inner side of the deformed joining part. Since the metal wire is pressed and deformed at the deformed joining part, the deformed joining part is less likely to catch on other components and the like during handling of the filter.

A gas generator includes a housing, a gas generating agent, and a filter. The filter is in a hollow cylindrical shape that surrounds a combustion chamber where the gas generating agent is accommodated. The filter is made of a wound body or a braided body of metal wire rods, and held by the housing in an axially compressed state by being sandwiched between a top plate portion and a bottom plate portion of the housing. When sandwiching is removed to apply no load, the filter has an axial length expanded by at least 1 mm as compared with a state in which the filter is sandwiched between the top plate portion and the bottom plate portion.

The present invention provides: a method for producing a high-purity polymer (A); and a method for producing a silicone hydrogel lens at a low cost. A method for producing a polymer (A) according to the present invention comprises: (step 1) a step of obtaining a polymer (A1) by polymerizing a first monomer (a) that has one ethylenically unsaturated group; (step 2) a step of obtaining a polymer (A2) by having the polymer (A1) react with a second monomer that has an ethylenically unsaturated group; and (step 3) a step of obtaining a polymer (A) by purifying the polymer (A2) with use of a subcritical or supercritical fluid. The first monomer is selected from one of the first group consisting of hydroxyl group-containing monomers, and the second group consisting of isocyanate compounds of (meth)acrylic acids, anhydrides of (meth)acrylic acids, and halides of (meth)acrylic acids. The second monomer is selected from the other of the first group and the second group.

Abstract

A gas generator (1) comprises a metallic holder (10), an igniter assembly (2) including an igniter (20) and a molded resin part (30), a cup (40), and a gas-generating agent (50). The cup (40) has a flange (43), and the igniter assembly (2) is provided with an annular groove for receiving the flange (43). An inner wall surface of the annular groove is defined by the outer peripheral surface of a first covering part (31) of the molded resin part (30). A bottom surface of the annular groove is defined by a first end surface (10a) of the holder (10). An outer wall surface of the annular groove is defined by the inner circumferential surface of an annular brim (13) provided to the holder (10). The annular brim (13) is bent inward to thereby assemble the cup (40) to the holder (10) so that the boundary between the first end surface (10a) of the holder (10) and the outer peripheral surface of the first covering part (31) is in the state of being covered with a sealing material (60) applied to the inside of the annular groove.

Abstract

A gas generator includes a housing main body made of metal, a holder assembly, and an igniter. The holder assembly includes a holder portion made of metal and a connector portion made of resin. The holder portion includes a first barrel portion and an annular projection. The connector portion includes a second barrel portion and a cylindrical portion. The cylindrical portion is inserted in the housing main body and externally attached to the first barrel portion. As a portion of the housing main body corresponding to the cylindrical portion is decreased in diameter, the cylindrical portion is compressed by being sandwiched between the portion of the housing main body decreased in diameter and the first barrel portion so as to seal a gap between the housing main body and the first barrel portion.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a resin composition comprising a maleimide resin that is compatible even when main skeletons are different from each other. The objective of the present invention is to provide: a curable resin composition exhibiting excellent photocurability and heat resistance; and a cured product thereof. It was found that a curable resin composition having excellent compatibility, photocurability, and heat resistance is obtained by forming a resin composition including: a bismaleimide compound (A) having a cyclic imide bond obtained by reacting a specific aromatic diamine (a-1), a tetrabasic acid dianhydride (a-3), and a maleic anhydride; and a maleimide compound (B) including a structure derived from dimer diamine.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for producing a corresponding unsaturated aldehyde by partially oxidizing an alkene using a fixed-bed multi-tube type reactor. The fixed-bed multi-tube type reactor includes a plurality of reaction tubes and a reaction bath that controls the temperature of the plurality of reaction tubes. The reaction tube is provided with at least two catalyst layers in a gas flow direction. Assuming that the reaction bath temperature at which the yield of unsaturated aldehyde is maximized is set as A (°C), and the reaction bath temperatures at which the yield is 1.0% points lower than the maximum are set as A1 (°C) and A2 (°C), the following expressions (1) and (2) are satisfied. (1): A1
