Abstract
To provide a plastic model that can achieve a realistic surface state by actual iron rust or the like appearing on an iron-coated component surface and a method of manufacturing the plastic model, and a plastic model component and a method of manufacturing the plastic model component. The above-described problem is solved by a plastic model assembled using a component including a base material and at least an iron-coated layer provided on the base material as some or all components. The iron-coated layer may be provided directly on the base material, may be provided between the base material and a paint film, or may be provided as an outermost surface layer on the base material or on the paint film on the base material provided as necessary on the base material. The iron-coated layer is a pure iron-coated layer or an iron alloy-coated layer, and may contain a dispersing material.
IPC Classes ?
- C23C 14/14 - Metallic material, boron or silicon
- C23C 16/06 - Chemical coating by decomposition of gaseous compounds, without leaving reaction products of surface material in the coating, i.e. chemical vapour deposition [CVD] processes characterised by the deposition of metallic material

Abstract
[Problem] To provide: a plastic model which can realize a real surface state via actual iron rust, etc., appearing on an iron-coated component surface; a manufacturing method therefor; a plastic model component for said model; and a manufacturing method for said component. [Solution] The abovementioned problem is solved by a plastic model 20 in which a component 10 having a substrate 1 and an iron coating layer 2 provided at least on the substrate 1 is fully or partially assembled. The iron coating layer 2 may be provided directly onto the substrate 1, provided between the substrate 1 and an application film 3, or provided as an outermost layer on the substrate 1 or the application film 3, which is provided as needed. The iron coating layer 2 is a pure-iron coating layer or an iron-alloy coating layer, and may contain a dispersant.
IPC Classes ?
- A63H 33/14 - Building blocks, strips or similar building parts specially adapted to be assembled by adhesive or cement
- C23C 28/00 - Coating for obtaining at least two superposed coatings either by methods not provided for in a single one of main groups , or by combinations of methods provided for in subclasses and
- C23C 26/00 - Coating not provided for in groups
- A63H 17/045 - Toy vehicles, e.g. with self-driveAccessories therefor shaped as armoured cars, tanks or the like

Abstract
A cavity is formed between stationary and movable mold members, and a runner is connected to a gate to the mold cavity to supply a molten resin material thereto. The stationary and movable mold members have bodies of an aluminum alloy of high heat conductivity and light weight. Iron base plating is applied at least to transfer wall surfaces of the cavity, leaving and exposing other wall surfaces in a non-plated state.
