Abstract
A belt cleaner is provided which does not damage the belt surface during the scraping operation where tips on an arcuate scraper held in a holder are inclined and pushed against the belt surface with rotary shafts of the holder rotated by a resilient force. A scraper (20) is provided with a flat slope (29) extending in parallel with the belt surface from top edges of the tips (21) in the belt running direction (F), said flat slope (29) is made to contact with the belt surface in a manner of surface-contact connection when the tips are shifted up the posture from a vertical posture to an inclined posture, and a width (W) of said flat slope (29) in the belt running direction with respect to the thickness (t) of said tip (21) is formed under the condition of t

Abstract
A belt cleaner includes one or more cleaner unit (6) which has a support plate (8) providing a scraping portion (7), an upper resilient block (9), and a lower resilient block (10), wherein said support plate (8) is supported by said upper resilient block (9) to be held in a forward leaning posture to make the scraping portion oppose to the belt running direction (X) so that the support plate (8) may be shifted to an upright posture by deformation of the upper resilient block (9), and wherein said lower resilient block (10) may deform resiliently to move said upper resilient block (9) including the scraping portion (7) upon application of pushing forces, such as bumping shocks or the like thereto so that shocks may be absorbed.

Abstract
A belt cleaner in which the leavings stuck on the belt surface will be scraped off in an optimum manner is provided. A belt cleaner includes one or more cleaner unit (6) which comprises a support plate (8) providing a scraping portion (7), an upper resilient block (9) supporting resiliently a lower portion of said support plate, and a lower resilient block (10) supporting resiliently a bottom of said upper resilient block, wherein said support plate 8 is supported by said upper resilient block (9) in such manner that said support plate is held in a forward leaning posture to make the scraping portion oppose to the belt running direction (X) so that the support plate (8) may be shifted to an upright posture by deformation of the upper resilient block (9) for pushing the scraping portion (7) against the belt surface, and wherein said lower resilient block (10) may deform resiliently to move said upper resilient block (9) including said scraping portion (7) upon application of pushing forces such as bumping shocks or the like thereto so that shocks may be absorbed.

Abstract
A belt cleaner is provided in which a scraping portion of a scraper becomes in contact with the belt surface over the full width thereof even when the trough-shape of the belt surface is different from the shape as expected, thereby the leavings on the belt surface will be scraped off in an optimum manner. The scraper is formed by a resiliently deformable blade which is curved and held in a holding groove of a holder so that the scraper (5) keeps an arcuate shape having a distance (L) between the central portion and the both side portions thereof with respect to the lengthwise direction of the belt. Shape shifting means (20) is provided in the holding groove (13) for transforming the scraper (5) into a desired curved configuration selected from among plural curved configurations changing the distance (L) thereby the scraper (5) is held in the selected curved configuration.

Abstract
A belt cleaner device is provided in which assembling of a frame and a cleaner head may be performed easily and quickly. A belt cleaner device comprises a frame 3 and one or more cleaner heads 1. The frame 3 includes a support face (3a) on its upper surface, and a support hole (33) through the frame. The cleaner head (1) includes a contact face (14) on its undersurface, and an anchor (16) projecting downward from the contact face (14). The cleaner head (1) is supported so as not to be rotated about the running direction of the belt by contacting the contact face (14) and the support face (3a) with each other. The cleaner head (1) is fixed to the frame (3) by fixedly inserting the anchor (16) in the support hole (33). The cleaner head (1) further provides a concave (21) in at least one of the front and rear walls (13) (15) to form a strike seat (22) at the bottom of the concave (21). The strike seat (22) is struck with a hammer or the like so that the anchor (16) is pressed and inserted in the support hole (33).
