Abstract

This collagen yarn contains collagen nanofibrils, and has a diameter of 10-50 μm and a total length of 2 × 105times or more greater than the diameter, wherein the collagen nanofibrils exhibit high alignment properties along the longitudinal direction of the collagen yarn, the high alignment properties are indicated by a fact that the refractive index difference determined by a birefringence measurement performed on a hydrated collagen yarn is 4.3 × 10-4 or more, and the hydrated collagen yarn is obtained by immersing the collagen yarn in a neutral phosphate buffer solution.

Abstract

Disclosed is a method for forming a functional foam layer, by which adhesion between a primer layer and the functional foam layer is improved and sufficient curing in the deep portion of the functional layer that is composed of a foam can be achieved. Specifically disclosed is a method for forming a functional foam layer, which is characterized in that the surface of a base is provided with a coating film that forms a transparent primer layer, then an uncured functional foam layer is superposed on the coating film that forms a transparent primer layer and ultraviolet light is irradiated from the functional foam layer side toward the base surface, so that the transparent primer layer and the functional foam layer are cured at the same time, thereby carrying out the bonding between the base surface and the transparent primer layer and the bonding between the transparent primer layer and the functional foam layer at the same time.

A problem that the present invention is to solve is to provide: a main body of a peptide molecule which is effective for inhibition of various maladies such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and pressure ulcer, particularly, a dipeptide which is easy to absorb into a body in an intestine; a collagen peptide which comprises the dipeptide as an essential dipeptide; and a malady inhibitor which comprises the dipeptide as an essential effective component. As a means of solving such a problem, a collagen peptide according to the present invention is characterized by comprising a dipeptide having a structure of Hyp-Gly as an essential dipeptide. A dipeptide according to the present invention is characterized by having a structure of Hyp-Gly. A malady inhibitor according to the present invention is characterized by comprising a dipeptide having a structure of Hyp-Gly as an essential effective component.

Abstract

A sealing material which does not sag after application and shows excellent sealing performance even under severe high-temperature conditions. Even when used with foaming, the sealing material can form satisfactory closed cells therein. Also provided is a method of foaming application of the sealing material. The sealing material is characterized by comprising an ultraviolet-curable ingredient and an ultraviolet-polymerizable initiator, the content of any thermoplastic elastomer not curable with ultraviolet in the material being 5 wt.% or lower. It is further characterized in that the ultraviolet-curable ingredient comprises an acrylate which gives an ultraviolet-cured polymer having a glass transition temperature and a weight-average molecular weight in respective certain ranges, and that the sealing material has a melt viscosity at 120°C in a certain range. The method of sealing-material foaming application is characterized by thermally melting the sealing material, incorporating nitrogen gas into the molten sealing material at a given elevated pressure, ejecting the mixture in the air at a given pressure and applying it to an area needing sealing while foaming the mixture to thereby form a sealing foam, and curing the foam with ultraviolet.
