Abstract

The present application discloses a floating nuclear power generation system in which an emergency power supply system is further strengthened. A floating nuclear power generation system according to the present disclosure comprises: a nuclear reactor; a turbine generator that is driven by steam generated by means of heat from the nuclear reactor; a floating body in which the nuclear reactor and the turbine generator are disposed, and that is moored offshore; and a floating body internal power supply system that has an emergency system which can feed power to prescribed nuclear reactor cooling equipment in at least a time of emergency, and a regular system which can feed power to equipment not connected to the emergency system, wherein regular power generation equipment that generates power by means of natural energy is connected to the emergency system.

Abstract

Disclosed is a floating-type nuclear power generation system capable of advantageously countering core meltdown. The present disclosure is a floating-type nuclear power generation system comprising: a nuclear reactor; a turbine generator that is driven by steam generated by the heat of the nuclear reactor; and a floating body in which the nuclear reactor and the turbine generator are disposed and which is moored on the sea. The floating body has, on the lower side of the nuclear reactor, a core catcher, the lower side of which is filled with ballast water in a ship-bottom ballast tank formed, in a double hull structure, at the bottom portion of the floating body.
