The present subject matter relates to a log dog, a kit thereof, a set bar assembly, and a log bed with the log dog and set bar assembly. The log dog includes a rod with a groove, and a head block with a cylindrical cavity for receiving the groove and with a bore extending through the sidewall. A pin extends through the bore to the cylindrical cavity for rotatable engagement with the groove to releasably hold the head block to the rod. The set bar assembly includes a pair of mounting brackets with a holder having lower and upper sections. A support bar is secured between the mounting brackets and a pivot arm extends from the support bar. The set bar assembly includes a stop bar received in the holder, wherein moving the stop bar between the lower and upper sections of the holder lowers and raises the pivot arm.

The present invention relates to a blade guide and a blade guide assembly for adjusting an elongate blade of a sawmill, where the blade having a longitudinal axis. The blade guide includes a guide with a blade surface for lateral contact with the blade, a shaft extending from the guide, a shaft block having a bore extending therethrough, the bore dimensioned to slidably receive the shaft therethrough, and a trunnion block pivotably coupled to the shaft block about a pivot. The pivot is orientated generally parallel to the longitudinal axis of the blade, and the trunnion block is adapted to be securable to the sawmill. Thus, pivoting the shaft block and, thereby, the shaft relative to the trunnion block, causes the guide to pivot and angularly adjust the blade about the longitudinal axis.

An adjustable toe board, an adjustable toe board assembly, kit and sawmill comprising the adjustable toe board are provided. The toe board comprises a baseplate having a first end, an opposed second end, and a rod extending away from the baseplate. The toe board includes a support bar pivotably coupled to the baseplate proximate the first end, spaced apart from the rod, and extending towards the second end, the support bar being configured to support a log.
