Abstract

The present invention relates to an air conditioner without an outdoor unit and a method for driving same. Specifically, the present invention relates to an air conditioner without an outdoor unit, using the cold storage energy of a PCM material, and a method for driving same, in which a multi-component refrigeration machine room and a chilling chamber are provided in an indoor unit of the air conditioner, and a heat exchange method using cold storage energy of a PCM material accommodated in the chilling chamber is used, and thus an outdoor unit having large power consumption can be omitted and power consumption of the air conditioner can be reduced.
